Cassius waited for Griffin at the diner where they first met. He didn’t have his kids to back him up this time. In short, Cassius was terrified to tell Griffin how he felt. He drew in a deep breath as he saw Griffin’s motorcycle. Cas offered a smile and a welcoming wave. Griffin walked up with his signature smirk that had everyone falling for him. “Shall we?”

He opened the door for Cassius like a gentleman and followed after him. The hostess sat them down at a table for two.

“Griffin I- I’ve wanted to tell you something… and I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t tell you soon…”. Cassius drew in a breath. “I- I love you…I really do and I know it’s not supposed to be this way but-“

“Cas-“ Griffin cut him off.
