laced by grace through faith

knotted and sewn

with dealthy depravity

hemmed with hellish ambition

tailored in white robes

and soiled linen

with dust and sackcloth

wrapped in hate and rage

shrouded in sin

bound in tainted flesh

filled with blood and soul

saturated in salvation

and wretched self

I fell today, dear

I fell fast and loud

my throat burns from the screaming

my heart scorched from the fires

of my own tongue

Who will ransom me from this dying body?

Why do I do the things that I hate?

I am made by Adam

I am saved by Christ
