Hyaena

The cackling Harris, a most exceptional form of hyaena, is exceptional only in its ability to consistently succeed by failing. The creature’s basic incompetence is jarringly blatant and yet other predators use this animal as a prop to lull other animals into reluctant acceptance - fearing the return of the brash golden lion. So far that gambit too is failing in the Savanah.

The Harris has a unique, albeit useless, defense mechanism - its anxious laughter. It uses this loud obnoxious noise in hopes of distracting its would be opponents. This hyaena heavily relies on friendly vultures and other carrion beasts to protect it from any form of pushback amongst the animals the Harris seeks to rule over. Most prominent of said allies is the homosexual Kenyan bathhouse serpent, a clever enough beast to win over the kingdom, only to have it fall apart when the Lion took over in 2016.

Despite having the colorful media parrots singing false praide of the Harris, the majority of other animals seem not to care. Even the Kenyan serpent and its gender changing spouse cannot help. Nor can the aging crooked Sloth that seemed to have resorted to ignore its duty to the Savanna by lounging on the shore with its caretaker.

One thing is certain, unless the dirty bottom feeders in charge of the savanna plot to overturn the will of the other animals, the return of the Golden lion is inevitable. And making the Savannah great again…
