Me that feels

Used to the idea

Of another global pandemic occurring

If news showed an outbreak soon

Of something, anything, anywhere in the world

I just wouldn’t be very surprised at all

It’s like Covid 19 has ruined and got me

Hooked on the feeling of losing, always anticipating bad luck

it’s so eerie that so many people are dying and impoverished

yet we’re told everything is fine so I need to stop caring.
