One long night ago,

I read a book.

It was a great book,

with a good story.

But one long night ago,

I read two books.

They were great books,

with good stories.

But a book isn't just

great

A book is

amazing

A book is

beautiful

A book is

getting trapped inside the story

A book is

thought provoking

A book is

something you want to read the next book for

And one long night ago,

my eyes danced to the end of every page

Driven by each

and every idea.

Mesmerized from what the character

said or did

It was a trance,

I was caught in.

Books make a person feel

and, oh sure did I feel.

One long night ago,

I cried.

in pain.

My emotions were on high,

every page filled my soul.

So books are more than

great.

And if a book is great,

it's not even a book at all.

Just some paper

with words.

But aren't all books just that?

No.

Not in a million years.

Books are way more than that.

Like how people are,

your loved one,

is more than just a person.

But we're all people,

So don't judge my signed marriage

to a book

or character.

It you truly read a book,

you wouldn't judge a bit.
