Wreath of Glory

IN WHICH A PRINCESS HAS TO TURN TO… QUESTIONABLE MEANS TO TAKE BACK HER KINGDOM

or

IN WHICH WREN HAS NO FUCKING CLUE WHAT SHE’S DOING

(oh and her hot best friend is there)

(he has no clue either)

Florence Li hates her name.

Who names their kid Florence, of all names? Like, it sounds like some perfume scent. Also, it was kind of ironic, ‘cause she was allergic to pollen. Her eyes would get all red and puffy and people would ask her if she was crying.

Anyways, back to the plot.

Everything that she’s known all her life— gone.

The Royal Gardens? Burnt to the ground.

The Throne Room? Ashes.

The Torture Chamber? Destroyed (thankfully).

What’s worse than being an overly pampered princess?

Not being one. That’s directed at you, your poor peasants.

It had been three years since Wren had seen Enzo. They didn’t exactly part on great terms. Wren blamed Enzo for her brother’s death on the battlefield. Enzo blamed her for being too incompetent to take care of her own family.

But here’s what’s strange.

Enzo doesn’t seem to hate her. In fact, it’s the opposite.

Wren has no time for all that, though.

She needs her kingdom back, and Enzo’s the only one who can help her. He’s reluctant at first…

She’s rich, though. And he likes money. And he gets paid to be with his favorite person.

Win-Win!

Nothing could go wrong, right?

Wrong.
