POEM STARTER
Write a poem that could be sung as a lullaby.
You could set it to the tune of an existing lullaby, or think up your own rhythm. Remember that lullabies are for children, and are ususally meant to be calming.
The Town
(An old lullaby I made in 6th grade to go along with a short intro story I made called Goblin Doors. I couldn’t find the sketchbook I wrote it on so this is my memory.)
Day time, night time
That’s the way it goes
Morning, Evening
That’s the way it goes
All in the town
La, la, la
La, la, la
All in the town
La, la, la
La, la, la
In the Maze
So deep and round
Voices aren’t heard
There is no sound
Hearing one
Means your done
And dead for them
To pick
Day time, night time
That’s the way it flows
Morning, evening
That’s the way the flows
All in the town
La, la, la
La, la, la
All in the town
La, la, la
La, la, la
Nothing to lose
All to take
If you snooze
It’ll be too late
Don’t be wary
Don’t be scared
Unless you have
Something to wear
La. La la
La. La la
No Sun
No Sky
La. La la
La. La la
No Air
No Shine
Day time
And the night too
Morning, evening
No, confuse
Everyday
Is dark day
Can’t breath
_(Lalalalala)_
Can’t breath
_(Lalalalala)_
_Can’t breath _
_In this toooowwn_
_All in this town…._

_(Yes, it is inconsistent on purpose. Song it in a f minor for good resorts. (I think it’s f minor, I may be mistaken) Anyways, thanks for reading and have a good day! _😊)
