The Letter(Tw)

Dear Even,

Today was rough

And tomorrow will be to

Mom is always working

Dad isn’t around

Others have a family

But all I have are parents

The house feels so empty

Not like a home

I’ve tried to make friends

I’ve tried to be normal

No one’s there

And no one cares

I’m never seen or heard

I could fall and I wouldn’t make a sound

So I’m up in a tree

Ready to let go

This is goodbye

Sincerely, me

Dear Conner,

Life is to much

And when it is I do drugs

When I’m high I’m empty

Which is better then the pain

But then I lose control

I lash out at everyone

I’m just a burden

My sister hates me

Dad bames everything on me

Mom gets mad

They shouldn’t have to deal with my shit

I shouldn’t have to be in pain

I can fix it all

I just have to die

So this is goodbye

Sincerely, me

*So they both attempted. Luckily they survived. After the incidents there parents put them in therapy and kept a close eye on them. They gradually improved and continued school where they met eachother. They didn’t know one another but grow closer as time went one. They opened up to each other more and more.*

(Two month after the incident)

*Even and Conner where studying for an English test after school at Evens house. His mom was at work trusting that the boys would be ok for a while by themselves. They where sitting on the bed with there books out in front of them.*

C: Do you understand how this works? [shows book]

E: I have no idea.

C: Come on I showed you how to do this three times already

E: I know I’m sorry.

C: Well at this rate your going to fail. I’m trying to help you but it doesn’t seem to be working.

E: I’m sorry. [Starts to get nervous and anxious]

C: Stop saying sorry all the time and figure the problem out. It’s like your not even trying!

E: I-I’m S-s-sorry. [starts to hyperventilate]

C: Hey what’s wrong? Calm down just breathe. Ok.

E: O-ok. [calms down but still breathing heavily]

C: What happened?

E: S-stress.

C: Ok, I’m sorry for yelling. Let’s figure this out.

E: Ok. [breathing normally now]

*They go back to studying but Even is distracted. He feels worthless because he isn’t understanding the problems.*

C: Even, why are you so detracted?

E: I-I’m sorry.

C: Stop saying sorry. You didn’t do anything.

E: S-sorry, I’m so w-worthless. I-I shouldn’t even b-be here right n-now.

C: Yeah, me either.

[both stare at the ground then realize what they just sayed]

E: I-I didn’t, w-what?

C: What do you mean shouldn’t be hear?!

E: I-I uhm t-tried to uh d-die.

C: Oh, really? M-me to.

(One month later)

*They have then getting even closer together and have been more open with there feelings. They help each other out as they go. Even has developed feelings for Conner but is afraid to lose him. Conner has similarly developed feelings for Even. One day while hanging out in a park Conner decides now is the best time to confess his feelings.*

E: [talking about the different types of plants they walk by]

C: [stops walking] Hey, Even.

E: [stops walking] Yeah, what’s up?

C: I have somthing important to tell you. [thinking of everything that could go wrong]

E: O, uhm ok. [mind starts thinking of everything that he could say/over thinking]

C: I-I, nevermind.

E: Wait, what is it? What’s wrong?

C: N-nothing.

E: No, something’s bothering you. What is it?

C: I-I just wanted to say….I..l-like y-you.

E: What? Like like like me?

C: Y-yeah, it’s stupid I know.

E: I-I like you to.

C: Really?!

E: Yes.

C: Does this mean you’ll be my boyfriend?

E: Of course!

*They started dateing and eventually told there families. They were very happy together*

(Five years later)

*They are now married and adopted a baby girl a year ago. They’ve found there happy ever after, together.*
