Love is the lie that keeps us alive.
What we believe seems to be true,
Too many ways to lie we can’t uphold.
We still believe there are true loves,
What we taught since childhood,
What we long for.

This poem is great , I think it could make a great follow up - to make a poem based on a childhood dream of a perfect relationship .
Just like a Disney film were they end with love
