i used to view the world as colorful and child like

of course it all faded when i got older

almost like i fell asleep

but when i met you

it all got light again

i wasn't prepared but i went with it

we spent more and more time

getting closer and closer

until

the world turned a new color

pastel

it got bright at time

and gray during others

until

it slowly turned in to gray all together

i was more alert

but tired

i kept my guard up

but kept getting hurt

when will i learn
