POEM STARTER

Write a poem where the first line of each stanza uses internal rhyme.

Internal rhyme is where words within the same line, or in the middle of different lines, rhyme with each other (not the last word of each line rhyming). e.g. 'I let you see a side of me that isn't seen often'.

A Shining Village

Golden sunlight falling down on the lovely, earthly, little town.

Sounds of laughter echoed near, with gentle peace for all to hear.

Seeing gay, joyful sights, with lovers, maidens, all delight.

This is a day for glowing thoughts, of shining streams and victories fought.

Happy wanders brought forth here as villager shout their wondrous cheer.
