As the darkness sank into her veins she felt the evil take her over…
Mind Control (PT1)
Choices. That's what life is. But I have a problem with that. First of all, if someone who wants to kill you traps you, you will die, and fate shall bring in its ev- you know what let's make it easier. Sometimes there's only one choice. Like that terrific example I gave. Second of all, some options are impossible to get it right. Especially ones that are calling to you. I sprawled across the couch, watching something about a baking reality show. It helped distract her from everything in her life, even though most of the time she wasn't even paying any attention. Except when I hear a big _boom_ on my door. I quickly get to my feet. Hopefully, it wasn't someone who wanted to kill me. I walked to the door slowly, light on my feet. I turn the doorknob, pulling it towards me. It was a black cat. Its silky fur was wet and plastered to its skin by rain. I saw a piece of white paper in its teeth. It dropped the paper, did almost a nodding motion at it, and scurried away. I picked it up. In bold letters, it said ‘CHOOSE’. Was this a trick? I flipped it over and on the other side, it had 2 symbols. A Sun, and a moon which seemed to be calling her name. _Scarlett_. I shivered. Then felt a hand on my shoulder. I was definitely going to get killed. “Scarlett you could save the universe, or break it. Choose a symbol.” The person's presence was warm, but she didn't look back to see who it was. She stood up tall. “Moon,” I said in a confident voice, knowing it was evil. I needed to get revenge on everyone who had hurt me. As the darkness sank into my veins I felt the evil take me over. A little girl looked at me, her face screaming, but all she could hear was magic coursing through her veins. She wasn't going to play this game anymore. I didn't care that I had never known there was magic in the world. I wasn't confused. I had one goal. Destroy this stupid messed up planet. And this was only the beginning. Soon this earth will be in pieces. I smiled. That sounds like a paradise.
