The Cell: Choose Your Own Adventure!
Dry as a patch of leather skin, cell contains me. Concrete, rough like the sinister people who put me in here, lets me know that I could never escape. But, I could dream.
The only thing stopping me was the ringing static, noise from the rambling television. It always had something to say, and it almost never stops. Only when my food comes does it relent.
They are driving me insane. It’s a hard thing to assess, but when you stare at either a wall or a blank TV for eight hours a day, you start to realize it’s getting to you. Eventually fuzz from the television’s mouth will coerce me to a state where I will not recognize myself. I hope that hot day never arrives.
(Now for the choose your own adventure Tehe!)
What will Samantha do next?!
1.) Become a rubber ducky connoisseur and pressure a guard into letting her out under the false pretense that they will become friends from this shared hobby ?
2.) Sit on the bed and let the TV drive her mad?
3.) There’s literally a glass window she can jump out. Attempt an escape (Risky)?
4.) Call a therapist with her phone to help her through her mental health journey and combat isolationistic feelings (Safe)?
