From The Ashes Hope Is Born
In the shadows deep where silence screams,
A world unravels at the seams;
Once vibrant greens now dimmed to grey,
The song of life fades far away.
The cities rise like jagged teeth,
Devouring the earth beneath their sheath;
Concrete jungles,cold and stark,
Swallow the whispers of the dark.
Fire dances in the sky,
As embers fall like whispered sighs;
A tempest brews a cataclysm
Casting dreams into a schism.
Rivers choked with plastic tears,
Time-worn echos of lost years;
Natures cavas, smeared and torn,
A cradle rocked by endless scorn.
We watch as the winds of change collide
With every choice, our hearts divide;
In search of solace, tools we wield,
But love,it seems, has long last been sealed.
Yet, from the ruin, a seed may sprout,
A flicker of hope, a whispered shout;
Though cracks in stone ash-strewn earth,
A promise breathes- rebirth hope from death
