Write about an important event in your life from the perspective of someone close to you.
Really try to think about how and why someone else would relate to this event, don't just write about your own experience. It could be a fictional event if preferred.
Remember
As she said goodbye
I knew right then
That I would never see her again
So I whispered in her ear
Remember me
And she understood, yes
The tears in her eyes held so much pain
Not just because of me
But because for the one she loved
I held the key
So as she went, I said
Be a good girl
And as she looked back
One more time
I could tell that she knew it was about time
