Silence. I see you on your phone, You see me with my book, No words are shared, But something is. This silence, Though it surrounds us, It never suffocates us, Never takes up space. Back to back, We do our own thing, But we do it together, Loneliness cannot set in. Sometimes you show me videos, Sometimes I show you a funny line, But all the while this silence hangs, And all we can do is smile.
