Out of Reach
Write a poem about something that always seems just out of reach.
Listening to Home by Cavetown over and over,
Rereading all 200 episodes of Boyfriends for the sixth time,
Nestled in headphones with my cat and two layers of blankets.
I’m just trying to cope.
And it’s still not working.
“Okay” is always just out of reach.

i just listened to this song and i added it to my playlist called “lowkey not having it today” which, i promise it isn’t bad lol, is a playlist for when i really need cheering up. that playlist does not have enough songs, so thank you for the much needed recommendation 😭😂

and i get this. healing takes too much time, if only we had magical powers that caused us to heal in seconds, mentally too.
but again i guess we would never grow then haha
