_Creeping wind, a strong breeze, perhaps a gust, maybe a storm_

_Storms aren’t common on my side of the ocean_

_Further_

_Across the sea_

_Where are they taking me?_

_A full on storm_

_Perhaps a hurricane_

_Shakes the boat_

_Up and down_

_Maybe a centimeter of water on the floor_

_Panic_

_The boat may sink_

_Never figured out_

_Where they tried to take me_

_Not my proudest moment_

_But tongue meets water_

_Salty_

_But not as salty as it could be_

_Not as salty as most seas_

_Pride myself in knowing the taste of each sea_

_But that almost makes it worse_

_Because suddenly_

I know where they’re taking me.
