The Beauty of Being Asleep
Write a poem which could have this as its title.
Baa-Baa
Let's count sheep, count to sleep,
Jump our obstacles, forget all your possibles.
The realms made crossable, nothing thought impossible.
Your mind is unstoppable, but, O man, don't forget your wake.
Your fakes, your sorrow and heartache.
Take a break, sail the yacht to dreamland.
swim in the sand, get tanned in the moonlight.
Write what you had in sight. Tonight, the boat sails south.
your mind working as your compass leading you to what came out of their mouths.
Fungus engraves their sentences, your mind embracing those messages
You are your prison, you are your freedom.
"Are you sure this compass is right?" asks the sailor in fright "Yes" smirks the subconscious mind torturing mankind.
