The day consisted of rain and very little sunshine Her doorbell rang with a slight knock following... She opened the door to grab the gift from getting too wet To her surprise it was from someone she left in her past You know those kinds of love stories you think will forever last With confusion upon her face She accepted the gift, feeling a swirl and mix of feelings inside of her Thinking "why?" "for what?" Seeing she had moved on from that point in her life She had found her peace away from the turmoil and heartbreaks Opening the box, it was a note within that read: "I am the last person you probably want to hear from but in order to find my peace and place within this world and your forgiving heart I had to apologize to you. I hope that you find it in your heart to forgive me for not knowing how to love you even with you showing me. So to help you forever express your emotions as you've always done I'm gifting you this journal for expression in this life. Thank you for teaching me to love genuinely!" She stood there with a smile That was it The closure she needed to be fully happy knowing she always loves wholeheartedly and nothing less.

How can I live without you? With your many ways of expression As well as your many ways of healing From strings, to horns, even some drums Vocals, to chords, to melodies, add a little rhymes & rhythm To make me laugh Sometimes even cry Yet on my worst days you always make me smile A love that exceeds millions of miles Thank you music For showing me a love I never knew I needed to survive this crazy life

There was this lesson I learned And not the easy way Where friendships were tested and trust turned into betrayal Where love was broken and disturbed by lust Yet life continuously came back full circle We are here to lead with love and always have pure intentions They say having a good heart can be dangerous But if it will leave me with my peace that’s all I need The lesson I learned was that To forget was to forgive, and I knew I would never forget.

She appeared 4 months prior to her expected timing Weighing 2lbs 3oz & immediately needing surgery For her tiny intestines & heart were having some difficulty functioning properly without struggle She then was hospitalized on and off for 6 months straight Including frequent ear infections and needing tubing for a while to hear

32 years later She is a mother of 4 girls & a wife With a passion for music, food, & anything that stimulates her thinking patterns Who has overcome so many painful life experiences The older she becomes the more wisdom she has gained If you ask me she is a great example of survival

Traveling, Anticipating, Anxiousness Tempos, Rhythms, & Rhymes Upbeat, downbeat, & scales Strobe lights, toasters, & set stages Live band, backup singers, dancers Screaming fans Arenas full of energy Hearts racing Eyes widening Amazement Talents, Dreams, & Goals Fulfilled nostalgia Happiness, Peace, Love In the world of Touring Everyone leaves with a filled void & to them Everything is just as it’s meant to be

Living a fruitful life Is what we all dream of Finding our purpose Is the only thing we constantly think of Learning to let go of our hurt to move forward That is the part we least want to be apart of A heart so full of love A mind so full of wisdom A soul so full of peace Yet no one truly understands you as you wish Betrayal, heartbreak, disloyalty, dishonesty, disrespectful, unworthy Are all the things you’ve been through by the ones you thought knew you With a new found self love A healed heart A more wise mind A soul overflowing with peace People who accept you just the way you are By loving you more & setting your own tone Where there was once softness, now all turned to stone

You claimed to truly loved me For who I was And not for who you wanted I tried to be the girl of your dreams Yet you kept crushing me more and more every time My love for you became a fear of you Long nights full of useless conversations To only end up not being your only one You knew from the beginning That I was vulnerable and you took advantage of that Wrongfully I defended you, until I couldn’t defend you anymore Even as a friend, I wished you all the best Yet & still you tried to tie me into your mess If you had given me that solid chance To love you into a blissful dance Instead you chose turmoil & heartaches & stalker mentalities Therefore I couldn’t ever love or know you as the same person Be blessed in all you do moving forward as it won’t involve me not even a little bit If Only you had loved me the way I loved you

As the days go by I’ve come to realize How swiftly life seems to pass us by With tears falling from my eyes I’ve witnessed my twin flame transition Now given the mission To pursue my dreams & lifetime goals Without fears & taking on every loop hole Like the strong determined person I know I can be Showing my crafts for the world to finally see Taking in all the positivity and love in all it’s truest forms If wishes fell like rain, then certainly I am the storm
