One day I know I’ll take it too far Loose my gripping and create another scar It's happened before And it'll happen again But eventually, it all has to end I don't know how And I don't know when So im writing this letter For everyone I know, family or friend I hope when you read this You know how I felt And next time consider When someone reaches out for help
Hours later when the sun had set and the animals had awoken, her dearest Michael had finally arrived. “Michael!” Her honey soft voice rang out into the cold abyss.
“Mia!” he sang back in return, “Finally, the time has neared us!”
Her head nodded in agreement as she wrapped her arms around his heavy chest. He smiled down at the lovely angel before continuing onto the glade. “Mia, my love, this could be our very last chance.” He watched as she shakily recoiled. “We mustn't miss it.”
“But Michael-” she echoed but was promptly cut off. Michael laced his gentle hands into hers and met her eyes with a heavenly smile. Right then, Mia felt her worries fade away faster than the evening sun and she smiled back.
Taking a step further, Mia prepared to jump from the tremendous height. She breathed in and looked to Michael. His face was painted a dark ominous evil and his eyes glowed with such fury she couldn't help but stumble.
“Micheal, are you feeling well? You appear a bit sickly.” Her voice no longer dripped with honey but now rang out ragged and scared.
“Mia, sweetheart, I am very well, just feeling a bit uneasy.” He sang out just as sweetly as before so one would think nothing of it if not for the look on his face.
Tripping backwards, Mia began to realize her error. She had been fooled by a devil in the disguise of an angel. She had let him capture her heart and drag her to her death under the promise of a portal to the heavily above. She had waited till midnight to be alone with the man who would soon be the cause of her untimely death.
“Mia, deary, dont say your leaving me, we made a promise, love, you cannot leave.”
“No,” she shook as her body was lifted to the air and pushed to the ground. "Michael, please, there is much more I can give to you!"
"Goodbye Mia," he wispered, but she was already dead.

‘Why would you do that to yourself’ He shuddered to himself Disgust and fear On his face it was clear
‘Why would you do that to yourself’ She cried in pain I tried to control it But it was all in vain
I had scared the ones I loved When all I wanted was to shed some blood The scars left terror, pain, and sadness And now all I want Is to so desperately end this
Would you hate her too? If you saw her, a copy of you, same face, same body, would you hate her? If she looked like the same reflection you had sworn destroy, the same reflection you had cried about night after night after night, would you hate her with the same burning passion you do yourself?
Her eyes were soft, and her voice was honey. She was the girl you always wanted to be, sugary sweet, honest and carefree. Everywhere she went, a shimmer seemed to follow. She was beloved, full of beauty and grace. And when she smiled, your worries, your problems, and troubles would erase. It was a pleasure to simply exist in her presence. So when she left this earth and ascended to the heavens, it was no wonder the world lost its essence.
“Kassie.“ My name dripped down her strawberry stained lips and settled in the air like a slur. “Kassie,” she spat, “Kassie, you disappeared for three and a half years. You cut contact with everyone for three and a half years. Do you understand what I'm saying?”
“I'm sorry.”
“I'm sorry? I'm sorry! Kassie Smith, I thought you were dead! I thought you finally ended that pathetic life of yours, but no, here you are, alive and well, three and a half years later!” Her voice raised and raised until she screeched out and shook the room. “Can you explain where, where in the world you succumbed away for for three and a half years?!”
“College, I was at college.”
“I” her voice trembled out and her fire, flaming and high only seconds ago, died out in an instant, “I can't play pretend with you anymore. We can't keep on like this. I mean really, Kassie, college?” Her platinum blond hair swayed along as she wrapped herself around me. I closed my eyes, letting the tears squeeze away and dance down my cheeks. Hot air tingled into my ears, “I missed you.”
“I missed you too.” I squeezed back, and for a second, though it felt longer at the moment, everything was okay again.
“I'm glad you're back from college.”
“I'm glad I'm back too.”
And everything was back to normal, leaving the salty lies to fade into reality as they always had.
A pinky promise A hike to the woods The loud thumping Of heavy horse hoofs
Weights on his shoulder His tears flood the room He closes his eyes And falls asleep soon
As he awakes Regret fills his bones He stretches and crys Longing for home
She grabs his hand Shaky and wet He looks to the side And grabs a fishing net
A fun fishing trip It's what was hoped to be As she leads him to the forest He gasped as he fought to see
Thick cloth Heavy and brown Wrapped tightly around his crown As his face teared up and into a frown
Heavy horse hoofs Covered the trails And she left him there To be smashed like the snails
Sadly he sighed He sniffed up his sorrow And bit his tongue As he waited for tomorrow
The reporters soon came Through thick and muddy terrain To see his body And rivers of blood mixed with rain
They write their stories All false and a mess But it brought no despair Or at least not to the press
“Lost in the fog Alone in the deep Bound by a promise That he couldn't keep”
They're stories outrageous And simply not true But not even the man with the story Could tell you
Why it had happened And on such sunny day Why she had done that And took him away
