Gerald Hattsman, a new york criminal gets death penalty in 1952 and is sentenced to the electric chair. The power goes out every night at 3:00 in the morning. His last meal was set at 1:00 AM. Could he play Father Time and trick the grim reaper himself? The officer on duty had arrived with his meal of choice at 1:30. Gerald licked his lips as the officer placed his food in front of him. He ate as a turtle would, slow and steady, preserving every bite of his scrumptious final meal. He didn’t worry of his affairs to come, he simply enjoyed the now. Time ticked on until it stuck 2:45 AM. The officers came in pair of two, the straps slapped onto my arms and pulled and latched tightly. Fear set in as gerald began to see his time was ticking out. He could hear the grim reapers cold breath at his doorstep. The officers came once again two by two and began turning on the machine with nothing to give but a cold hard stare to the criminal. Do these men have not a heart? I may not be in my right mind but i am still human as them. I am not these men for these men are me. Killers just as i, cold and numbness fills their bones. Time ticks in the still of the night, 2:58 as they complete the final setup of the electric chair. They are not aware what is yet to come. Tick tok tick tok. 3:01 and the electricity sets in from my toes to my nose and every single nerve in my body. The feeling is truly shocking, in all my life i have never felt something so great and powerful. It could of been the greatest moment of my life. The shock stops and I immediately fall to rest. Father time you are a wise man to surely say the best, but grim reaper was relentless in the soul he wished to take. Today i lost the battle, Gerald Hattsman takes his hat off to you. The war is over and i go with great glee. Today luck wasnt on my side and for that i pay the final fee.
Life isn’t always easy Its full of paths Some happy, some sad, Some good And some bad. They say time is limitless But dont let it slide by you It can be gone in the blink of an eye Through it all the greatest thing to keep in mind Enjoy the journey but dont lose your soul Stay true to your heart Trust in the lord and you shall see Everything is just as its meant to be
Scrambling to pack my things i knew today was the day and i wanted to be ready. It had only been a week or so but i was dying to see him. But there was something different about this time. Today was the day i would meet his son. I was nervous but trying not to let it bother me. I told myself id just go for it and let it play out how it was meant to. My phone buzzed and i knew it had to be him. “Goodmorning my love, we are headed that way” I took a breath and l went outside for a cigarette to ease my nerves. “Stay positive, relax” i told myself. The dogs start to bark alerting me of his arrival. I finish packing my things as he comes in. I turn around and he wraps me in his loving arms and greets me with his warm sweet kisses. This man is truly a blessing. “Lets go get some breakfast, are you ready?” he says smiling at me. Returning the smile, trying to hide my nervousness I turned to walk out the door. We get to the truck and he opens the back door to put my bag in the truck and introduce me to his pride and joy. We get to the restraunt and as we are telling the waiter our order a familar tune catches my ear. I look to my man and smile in shock. I knew that was a good sign. We finish our food and head to their home. We get there and i am introduced also to his animals. The nerves come back but i brush them off. Next i get a tour of the house. i can tell my man has worked very hard for this house and he takes pride in it. The house was beautiful and it had a warm feeling to it. I unpack my bag and ask his son if he wants to go play in the back yard. We talk a little about ourselves and try to get to know one another. His son is very welcoming and cheerful, which calms my nerves a little. After a few hours of chatting with him he looks at me and says “will you be my friend?” With a big smile and a warm heart I responded “of course” i knew in that moment that everything was falling into place. One person became two when i met this amazing man, two became three when i met this sweet little boy. I am so blessed and happy to be a part of this home.
In your journey of rediscovery you will begin to see you are not the same person you used to be. The things you used to tolerate have now become intolerable. Now that youve learned to remain quiet you are now seeing the truth. Where you once battled and argued you are now choosing to walk away. You are beginning to understand the value of your voice and there are some situations that no longer deserve your time, energy and focus. This is a time of growth and wisdom This is your rebirth, not your downfall Be patient, learn from your mistakes. Embrace your new self and love it entirely. For you must be broken, almost completely shattered To be put back together so greatly. Be proud of yourself. Its a beautiful thing when a broken angel spreads her wings and flys again.
We all hear a little voice in our head The only difference between mine Is that is mine wants you dead It tells me Go grab the hammer That’s inside of the shed And then walk back inside the house And hit your bitch in the head And don’t you stop hitting Until her blood covers the bed Wrap her in the sheet and take her to the shed I’ll carve your body open Leave you on the floor bleeding It’s spooky every season Taking lives to stop the screamin voices in my head, these demons. See I think differently When I’m at home all by myself Yeah my head is fuckin toxic But your head is on my shelf Its spooky every season But i still cant find a reason So these demons i keep pleasin
If i was a bird I would be sure i was heard Id soar thru clouds with glee Chirping and singing as loud as can be Id sit on the highest branch of the tallest tree And id wait for the sun to set. With no fear of falling For ive gotten my wings and found my calling. If i was a bird Oh how delighted i would be.
🤔🤔
If i could be anything i would be a tree
The amazing thing about trees is they endure so much change but they never move.
Every season the leaves change and drift away. But they always return year after year
The wind blows and the storms rage, but the trees will endure so much before they break. They will bend and curve all that they can before they allow themselves to truly cave in and break.
They meet many animals as time passes. They provide a home for those in need.
Trees are as old as they come and with time comes great knowledge.
They dig their roots deep and sturdy so they know nothing of fear
The earth above can shake and rattle but their roots will never cave.
if only i could be as strong as a tree.
I think i just met the happiest person in the world!
Its me motherfucker, suprise!
Look in the mirror and you will see.
The happiest person is surely me.
I can do anything, be anything i want to be.
Strong as an ox,
light as a feather,
Soft as cotton, sweet as a box a chocolates,
hot as hell,
cold as ice,
quiet as a mouse,
perky like a hummingbird.
Feisty like a lion.
Fast like a cheetah.
Pretty as a peach.
Sharp and sneaky like a fox.
Thick skinned like a rock.
Sensitive as a bubble, ready to pop.
Anything i wish to me im sure i can achieve.
I am strong.
I am determined.
I am positive as can be. I am me.
And the happiest person i aim to be.
There is only one me. Just look around and see.
I have all I could ever want.
Look in the mirror and you will see.
The happiest person is you, is me.
The owl sits perched upon the barn door Waiting ever so patiently for his time to score The mouse wakes up with an aching in his stomach He peeks outside to the world and spots a peice of cheese He knows the cheese would please his need The owl still watching knows this is his time to feed He watches the mouse come out into the night Because of his size the owls knows he can not be quick So he knows for this he must be slick He waits until the mouse gets the cheese for he knows too the mouse has needs too He swoops down and grabs the mouse in his big sharp talons The mouse squeaks with fear but it is too late His time has come His end is near The owl flys to the nearest tree And takes his prize proudly He sits upon the tree with his belly full of delight And waits silently in the shadows for his time to shine again.
