After Tess saves Mattheo and his roommate, she seems to have some doubts.

”I thought you two would like each other... But you’re just, staring,” Mattheo said awkwardly.

”Shut Up,” they both say, not breaking eye contact.

”Okay but one question. Does blinking count in this staredown orrr?”

”No it doesnt,” Tess said grabbing his ear.

”Ow ow ow okay okay,” Mattheo whined as she let go.

Then Sam’s eye twitched causing Tess to smile slightly and lean back.

”Huh? Tess did you-” Mattheo starts as Sam snaps.

Everything stops except Tess and Sam.

“Who are you?” Sam asks coldly.

“What’s your motive?”

”Uh- Hey I ask-”

”You don’t ask the questions. I do!” Tess says, slamming the table as she now towers over him.

Sam snaps scared out if his mind.

”Jeez-” Mattheo says falling, “You gain super speed or something!”

”Bye Mattheo,” Tess says, “And stay on your toes. Literally.”

”Will do,” Mattheo giggles giving her a thumbs up.

Tess shakes her head and gives him a weary smile.

She walks out the apartment and closes the door.
