Wash My Sins

This river of offering is a home I see too often

The water rolls over my body, purifying

Wash away my betrals and sins of my flesh

Give me a new soul from the father of undying

The river filled with blood that costs a high price

A price I couldn’t afford without my father

Your offering that I do not deserve

A lifetime of pure deeds couldn’t save my worth

My soul doesn’t want to sin, but my flesh does

This holy blood that washes my sins

Take my acts and make me pure

Once again, I’ll won’t sin anymore for sure

This river that I see way too often

Waves of forgivness and ripples of life

Wash my evil body once more tonight

Let me feel my father’s redeeming light
