Two women sit on a bench, in a park alone, with magnolia trees and wildflowers… with each others company. One girl leans her head on the others shoulder.

“Sar…. How’s Aquene, are they causing you trouble?” Tess asks an arm around her shoulder.

“No, their very kind. She has a cat too!”_ Sarah chuckles._

“Is it my kind of cat?” Tess smiles slightly, something rare and unusual for her.

“No, no your allergic to this one.” Sarah giggle wrapping an arm around her waist.

__ Tess giggles a bit, “That’s a shame” She says playing with her hair, “That means I can’t visit you.”

“Well I’m visiting you! So problem solved.” Sarah sighs closing her eyes.

They sit in silence for a few minutes, Tess observing the nature around her with Sarah resting.

“Do you ever wonder why we exist?” Tess whispers, picking up a wildflower and putting it in Sarah’s hair as she sits up in worry.

“Hey, what’s wrong! Why are you thinking-“ Sarah rambles taking a hand to adjust the flower so it doesn’t fall.

“Hey.” Tess puts a finger on her mouth, “It’s not what you think, not now.” Tess brushes her finger across her lips before letting her hand fall.

“Alright…” Sarah ponders as she tries to find an answer, “I believe that you and I exist, for each other.”

Tess looks at her with curiosity and admiration.

Sarah chuckles nervously, “What? What’s that look for!” Sarah smiles, that one smile that makes Tess have butterflies. The one where only her top teeth are showing. It’s not a full smile, it’s a smile of adorable nervousness that if played right, will turn into that full smile that causes Tess’s heart to leap.

“Nothin’ your just cute, and I’m happy your mine.” Tess says smiling like a 6 year old with candy as Sarah’s smile grows. Her top and bottom teeth are visible, slightly parted as dimples form on her cheeks. God, how Tess loves that smile.

Sarah kisses her cheek giggling, the flower in her hair falling down slightly. Tess holds her closer and adjusts the flower. She smiles down at who she has.
