POEM STARTER

‘To forget was to forgive, and I knew I would never forget.’

Write a poem that ends with this line.

Made Wrong

If only I wanted to be here Maybe I would have If I was prettier Smarter Funnier Maybe I was built wrong Maybe whoever made me forgot to read the instructions They didn’t tighten my boobs enough They made them too small They forgot to straighten my hair It’s too curly Too frizzy They must’ve forgotten the eye drops I’m stuck with a boring brown No freckles Nothing interesting except Flaws That’s all people seem to pick on anyway I can’t forget Everything that went wrong In the process of building me To forget was to forgive And I knew I would never forget
