Gray, gray was the color of everything if you had a tone to bright or a tone to dark you would be charged with a fine. Scientists had found a connection between colors and happiness so we could no longer wear anything that could make you or other people happy. No one any more had smile wrinkles if you did you would probably be sent to jail. It was all because of the people, people didn’t like it when you were happy but they weren’t. Everyone had become intitled to being the same you couldn’t be different because that was unfair. I have come to hate the way we live now because of the new laws. Before law 256 we could still be happy but now it was all gray. Even the sky was no longer happy, living in one of the densest city of 1 billion inhabitants. The pollution was so bad that you couldn’t see the moon at night or even the sun it was just a bright haze. I guess the world would now just be gray.
I like you! I confessed, but the girl who I’d thought could do no wrong looked uncomfortable almost like my pressence was an old trash bag she forgot about. She looked like she wanted to escape, she wanted to be no where near this boy who was putting his heart on the line. She looked around the room at the faces of everyone around, like they could somehow help her out of this mess, but of course I knew that I should do something. Even though I wanted to ball my eyes out, disappear, leave this world behind somehow. I said I was just kidding it was all a bad joke, but inside I knew it wasn’t it meant that I had to be crushed in order to save her.
I’ve always loved you. Even when you complained about your ex’s to me, even when you ugly cried on me, even when you choose anyone besides me. You were my first love, you meant everything to me yet you never saw me that way. I tried to look on the bright side and just hoped you would return these feelings but that was selfish of me and it hurt me yet I still stuck with you, through all of your break ups and struggles. You never even looked my way. I stayed up with you, changed how I looked just to be on your radar, I even changed my personality. But it was all for nothing. You didn’t even consider me at all for anything but a friend.
Oh she replied
She didn’t look hurt or at all confused about what I said I knew then that I wasted all these years thinking about her. I was devastated inside I couldn’t control my emotions anymore nor think rationally. I just left her on this cold October night all alone, I didn’t talk to her once after this.
Every day I would show up at that same little shop,
It was to see her, the lady that owned the little shop,
And every day I would buy the same flower a little red rose,
And every day she gave the same response, you picked the best one yet,
My love for her blossomed like my red rose, it grew every day,
But this was my unrequited love, so I’ll just keep buying a rose from her the most precious flower there.
Rows and rows of old items, Some that look nice and other that don’t, Each item has its own story, You can tell a lot just by looking,
There’s an air of dust and relics, It almost like my grandparents house, Each piece has some unique characteristics, If you search deep enough you might find something that piques your interest.
We’re done, that’s the last thing I ever heard from my girlfriend. I had lost everything, I had no friends or family my life sucked. If you’re anything like me you have nothing going for you. Let me explain how I got to be this way. It all started in middle school when I started playing on our football team… I had just turned 12 and was finally looking forward to going to school. I had a crush on a girl her name was Jasmine. I also had a best friend named Jared. Him and I had beens friends since kindergarten, and football practice was starting. It was going to be my best year ever at least that’s what I thought, but by the end of this year I learned something I learned what winning felt like and I got addicted to it… By my last year of middle school the only thing I thought about was winning. I had won so much that losing was a impossible option if I lost that meant that I was no longer worth anything. I had cut ties with Jared because he was holding me back from my potential all he cared about was his looks and what girls thought of him not winning… It was my freshman year and I had finally lost. to my best friend he stole the girl he knew I liked. I didn’t even make it onto the football team. I realized that I was worthless and I wasn’t capable of being #1. It made me so frustrated and annoyed. I wasn’t happy about this it was so devastating I had won everything except her I couldn’t let this happen, so I decided I was going to ruin his perfect image. I spent all of my freshman year spreading rumors about Jared, like how he was getting together with a teacher, and how he bought his way onto the baseball team… My sophomore year all the rumors I had spread stopped. He was still dating Jasmine who was supposed to be my girlfriend. I had to do something about this, this time I’m going to take action. I had decided to run him over. That way I’ll have won at something. I was too addicted to winning to see how my actions here would affect my future… That is how I lost everything
“Sir!” A man yelled at me “what do we do?” I contemplated what our plan was going to be from here. We had just discovered a UFO that had crashed in the middle of Antarctica. “I don’t know, but I don’t think we should get too close to it.” It was already too late a handful of the men who were there with me were already to close. I was watching a man move closer and closer to the UFO. He reached out very slowly he put out his trembling arm and then a finger, he was going to touch it! I was going to yell not to but it was already to late. “BOOM!” The UFO shot off some cosmic ray straight into the atmosphere. There was a chill in the air no was talking or even moving we were all just looking up into the sky wondering if something going to happen. The wind was blowing and clouds started to roll in all the hair on my body stood up. It was like it could tell something was happening. The white plains suddenly got foggy I couldn’t see two feet away anymore. My ears started to ach and ring, my eyes were watering but whenever a tear came out it would freeze. The temperature was dropping fast so fast that there was so much steam coming off of my body that it was snowing. The steam stopped, I tried to start moving but my shoes were stuck to the ground and I couldn’t feel me toes or my legs. I tried to reach down but I couldn’t move my arms or my fingers they were frozen solid. It was like all the blood in them froze. Then that man fell over and shattered
