Listen to Robert Frost

ā€œI took the road less traveled by,

and that has made all the difference.ā€

As I read these words, I wonder why?

Why canā€™t I choose it? Why o why?

ā€˜Cause Iā€™m not sure of the difference.

The road more traveled is comfortable now

And if I take the road traveled less

I will not know the when or how

But misfortune will surely make me bow

Yes, misfortune will make my life a mess.

If I take that path ...

I Heard It As A Whisper

Dust coats the surface of a place

I used to know wellā€”a place

of intrigue, imagination,

and the truth

that we are not alone

While these particles collect and build

up, and up, and up

We continue to look down,

not seeing around us the destruction

of distraction, the heartbreak of isolation

The bitter truth that while we are not

physically alone, we are emotionally gone

from the days of co...

Soon enough the path others named ā€˜rightā€™ disappeared, and all thatā€™s right has gone.

The sun turned darker, and a new moon came to light.

Afterwards the trail began going deeper into the unknown, and what I didnā€™t know had become me.

I have felt it now, the dysphoria, I didnā€™t feel real; but I felt unbearably real.

The Narrow Path

I took the road less travelled by,

and that has made all the difference

In the beginning, I was happy

a child living blissfully

But as age crept up on me

The darkness followed ultimately

It had the power to consume me

To drown me hopeless and truly,

It did at first

Like it did so many others

And for a while I was lost

Stuck in stormy whether

But you pulled me out

My saviour no matter

How dire ...

I press my body to the floor, glad not much of my skin could touch the cold tile, but also wishing I was wearing less as the fire beat against my skin in one, powerful pulse. I waited just an extra second, to make sure every explosive went off. That one second could be the difference between victory, and death.

Knowing how The Watchers work, if Iā€™m caught, ...

I Took The Road

I took the road

That lead me

To late nights

In her bed

I took the road

That lead me

To her giggles

At three AM

I took the road

That lead me

In the art room

With her legs wrapped around me

I took the road

That lead me

To 11 PM

make out sessions

I took the road

Less traveled by

That have made

All the differences...

Road Of Adventure

Daring truths,

And crystal lies;

Weā€™re planting roots

That reach the skies.

Quiet storms,

Nothing to fear;

What we mourn,

No one hears.

Clothing shredded

On the battlefield-

What we mended

Is now our shield.

We get battle-scars

For the sake of glory;

Scars on hearts

Make up our story.

We want results

Without the pain;

We act like adults

For the sake of gain.

Seatbelt

Get ready

Itā€™s time to stroll and roll.

Should I fasten my seatbelt?

Life is a beat and time is running fast.

Yet, I took a pause.

Well a lot of pauses. To make turns.

Detour for awhile.

Fill up my gas tank. and gaze.

Gaze at how things were before

Marvel on the present day.

and make way for the Future.

I took the road less traveled by and that has made all the difference.

Door Two

I had two choices.

One with a future so certain it was like predicting a cliche play's last part.

The other, with no information, just a certain fresh start.

I chose the second of course, otherwise I wouldn't be here.

I wouldn't be writing this, but instead, I think I'd be shedding a tear.

I chose the door with no certain outcome, but I also chose the door where I found my tongue.

It wasn't frie...

Jesus Saves

I was going down a road, not just any road, a sinful road. Doing drugs, committing blasphemy, gossiping, worrying, being scared. Then I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. I stopped all the sinning and followed Christ and becoming a better human being. Until this day I thank the lord for saving me and being blessed....
