Pippa needs to know her secret.
Unfortunately for her, Ink Spill might not know what that secret is yet.
She didn’t kill Ink Spill much to Pippa’s desire to. She still has a purpose for the vicious villain.
Though getting the information she would like from her will be a bit harder now that Pippa used a light (now shadow??) dagger to cut her vocal cords.
Ok….she let her emotions, her grief, blind her. She didn’t exactly know what she going to do before it happened. But at least she didn’t murder Ink Spill. Yet.
“Tell me how to reverse your poison. Then I’ll let you live.”
For the first time since she kidnapped Ink Spill, her eyes widen with fear in them.
Yes, Pippa treated the wound she inflicted, but the villain must not have realized how far into the dark the mighty hero Beacon has fallen. She fears Pippa, and she can’t lie. It feels good. Ink Spill is taking her seriously.
With a paper and a kid pen that has a pom pom at the end of it positioned at her tied-up right hand, she writes.
There is no cure. I never needed one.
“You won’t ever hurt anyone ever again. You won’t ever do what you did to Salen. So tell me,” she demands, conjuring another knife made of pure ebony shadows.
Even under the threat of more harm, Ink Spill calmly scribbles down her response.
_I don’t know of any. _
Intermittent neon lamps lighten up the dirty, grayish walls as it’s thickening echoed in the hallway, Viro and Rebecca were alone.
“Where are you taking me this time, I’m tired of your scams”
Said Rebecca, she sounded tired and annoyed at the same time, as if she was using all her energies to feel disappointed in him, by her tiredness Viro could guess that outside was night.
“I need you to trust me one more time, I promise you won’t believe your eyes”
Rebecca stomped her foot on the porcelain floor
“I’m not walking a single step forward unless you tell me what we’re going to face, i’m sick of being in danger for your research”
Viro started biting off his nails, as he listlessly said
“I’ve been working on a “project”, I tried to replicate our nervous system’s process of burning calories using perfectly healthy human organs and lifelike plastic veins with my own blood running in them, they are all united in a “creature” that can now be considered a Thinking, Independent Creature”
“What are you even talking about”
“Rebecca, the thing is that it disappeared from my lab”
“Viro you created a human”
“That’s no human, honey”
She wants to know his secret. He hasn’t decided what it is yet.
Drunk, Crying, Hysteric, and Alone. That’s how she finds him at 3am on a Tuesday night. He only called her because she was the first number on his recent calls. Now she’s dealing with a seemingly perfect guy and his obviously imperfect future. He has so much to say and not enough time to say it. She now understands that secrets, are kept secret for a reason and some people have too many to count. All through the quiet streets of her seaside town, brand new demons are stirring, and not the spiritual type.
She wants to know his secret. All the girls seem to know much more than her. So why was she the only one allowed to stay after everyone cleared out after his 21st birthday? And why did it bother her so much that he liked her?
She walked up the stairs and into his bedroom. He gritted his teeth, “You aren’t supposed to be up here without me.”Her eyes glanced down to see the camera in his hand still on.
He was a hobbyist photographer and took photos throughout the night. It was his dream career. And she loved that he had his own purpose.
“Who is that?” she replied. She leaned in close to get a better look. And what she saw made her question everything.
It was a photo of her and him taken earlier in the night, but something seemed off about it. A small ghost like figure of a little girl in 19th century clothing stood between them.
“That’s you, what do you mean?”his brows furrowed.
“No- there’s a little girl. I-“ she couldn’t make sense of it. The little girl’s red eyes and wide smile seemed to jump right out of the camera.
“It’s only a photo of us. Everyone else left.”He shrugged off her question.
“Are you sure you didn’t drink too much?” He handed her some water.
Besides, he hadn’t decided what it is yet.
She wants to know his secret. He hasn’t decided what it is yet. Is it something he senses, but can not picture? A past trauma he swore he would forget that constantly dwells in the depths of his tortured mind. His dark eyes are pleading and his palms start to sweat. Perhaps he has so many secrets he can’t pick just one. “Tell me,” she whispers under her breath. He turns his face away from her ignoring the angst in her soft green eyes. “I want to know you; the good and the bad.” She grabs his face with both hands. He tries to pull away, but her grip is strong. She wants to know his secret. It should be simple. He won’t speak a word. It appears the secret will never escape his lips. She begins to walk away from him, but he grabs her hand. He pulls her in and kisses her softly. He finally speaks, “The only secret I’ll tell is that life without you would be empty.”
She wants to know his secret. He hasn’t decided what is yet. His true secret must remain locked away, tucked in the depths of his melded mind because if she finds out the truth, the entity he made a pact with will unleash. So he thinks of less harmful secrets that won’t lead to the end of the world but things can get complicated when the love of your life is a sleuth. After years of being lied to, she can spot him wracking his brain for another so after enlisting the help of a talking book possessed by an ancient being she manages to get closer to her love’s secret than ever before. But is this book her friend or foe? Can the man stuck searching for a lie pull the wool over his love’s eyes and prevent the world’s end? Most of all, can this couple’s love survive after years of being built on a lie or is their love doomed to end? In this possessing tale, we’re asked who’s really in control? Us or the unknown.
She wants to know his secret. He hasn’t decided what it is yet. She looks into his eyes deeply. Longingly. Knowing. Believing that if she could just crack through this one last barrier, there would be nothing stopping them from the bliss of eternal togetherness. Yet, although he would love nothing more than to give her what she desires. Everything she desires. He is frozen. Paralyzed. Trapped under the rubble of a life lived with so much guilt and shame that he no longer even know what it was he was hiding in the first place. The thing just below the surface. Visible through his actions and words to all who take the time to care for him. It’s simply a part of him now. Like a vestigial organ with no nerve endings that has grown cancerous, he can’t even feel its toxic presence anymore. If he wishes for his search to continue. The search to find the love that’s standing right in front of him. The search for himself. He’ll have to craft a scalpel with his heart and use it to remove the dead tissue. The thing that no longer serves him. And lay it bare before her.
She wants to know his secret. He hasn’t decided what it is yet. Casper Shaw is a man of 1000 faces, 1000 secrets and 1000 lies. He’s a man of deceit, of treachery, but above all else, he’s a man who serves himself. only himself. And as a renowned thief amongst the criminal underworld, Casper lives a life of luxury and adventure. he needs no one and no one needs him. That is, until he meets her. Gina Thomas. The only daughter of a small town florist, Gina is the most genuine woman he has ever met. clumsy and honest to a fault, there is no true reason why the brown eyed girl should have caught his attention but she has. and as time passes, as he gets to know her, things begin to become difficult when Gina begins to ask more and more pressing questions. namely, who Casper Shaw really is.
There is only one problem, he isn’t quite sure himself.
“Tell me your secret! Tell me your secret! I know you have one! Every one does!” My girlfriend says.
“Uhh I don’t have one?” I say as I have nothing to call a secret.
“Of course you do. Every one has one.” She says eagerly.
I need time, I say in my mind. Quickly I think of a plan. “Are you willing to work for it?” I ask
“Yes! Wait no!” She says.
“Too late Amanda Rose. Now if you want my secret you have to go to your moms house and bring out a pen and paper and give it to me. In order for me to know your not faking it you will FaceTime the whole way there.” I explain
“Fine, it better be a good secret then.” She says
“Oh it’s a good secret alright. Chop chop better get movin” I replied.
She quickly leaves the house and FaceTimes me.
I muted my self and wondered what to tell her when she’s back. I sat there wondering and wondering until I got an idea. I whistled at my secret and at waited. When she comes back she’ll be shocked.
