So that flesh is never breached

By enemy invaders

But brittle are the bones

Beneath the framework

Woven from glass thread

And paper pins

It seems

Is only strong

Until it is

Weak...

Worry not, my love,

and new skin will erase

the memories

that haunt you

in your waking hours.
