If your hand could reach inside my heart,
what would you do with it?
if i opened my walls and let you back in,
would you break me again?
i love you
and i shouldn’t love you
not after everything
but is it so wrong to still want you,
to still need and crave you,
like an addiction left unsatisfied?
i want to let you in,
but how can i?
why is it that after all the time
i still can’t let you go?...
If your hand could reach inside my heart,
What would you do with it?
Would you find all the broken pieces?
Like a puzzle solved with your gentle touch.
One day, if you held my heart in your palm,
Would you let it beat freely,
Or shape it with your own rhythm,
A song only we could hear,
A pulse that binds us....
If your hand could reach inside my heart,
what would you do with it?
Would you crush it like you did to me,
when you turned your back?
Would you break it like you did to me,
when you never left an answer?
Or would you fix and put it back together,
in the place where it belongs?
Would you mend it like you should have done,
all those years ago?...
If your hand could reach inside my heart, what would do you with it?
Mesmerizing lips stained a beautiful,
Yet disturbing shade of red.
Tasting delectably sweet,
It made it hard to notice,
The thieving hand digging deep inside my chest.
You felt me inbetween your fingers,
Savoring every skipping beat,
Eyes gleaming as you squeezed,
My throbbing heart tight within your fist,
Just beyond my re...
If your hand could reach inside my heart what would you do with it?
Heal it or add more scars and bruises
Help put it back together or tear it into even more pieces
Would you fix or destroy
Be my angel or demon
The questions rhetorical I gave you my heart and I haven’t seen it since
Guess it wasn’t a lie and more of a warning when you choose to love a part of you goes extinct...
If your hand could reach into my heart.
What would you do with it?
Would you pull it out and burn it?
Would you break it into tiny pieces?
Maybe I’m overthinking it,
You wouldn’t crake something
That belongs to me. You know how much
I love to hear my heart beat.
Your eyes remind me of the dark dirt
In the back of my yard. They remind
Me of me would I look at them from afar.
That’s weird, isnt...
If your hand could reach inside my heart, what would you do with it?
Would you twist and squeeze
Or let it thump with ease
Would you give it a warm hug
And make it patter and tug
Or would you shred it to pieces
Leaving me speechless
Your hand could always reach inside my heart, so why would you do that with it?
You always had easy entry
Now you leave it inside but empty...
If your hand could reach inside my heart,
What would you do with it?
Feel the thick coat of warmth,
Feel the pulse of love,
Treasure my insides like a silkmoth.
Curl right there, dove.
Move with my shy breaths,
Squeeze my love nerves,
Can you sense the heave of my breasts?
While your eyes finger the water of my curves.
Quicker now, my heart paces.
The thudding of your love awakens.
You curl...
If your hand could reach inside my heart,
What would you do with it?
Would you stick your fingers in
And spin
It like a bowling ball
Headed down the lane
But falling to the gutter.
Or would you polish it
Like an old sports trophy
And scratch your name over mine
And blow
The filings off the letters
And admire your work.
What would you do with this
Beating thing?
Oh so violent
It throbs and sing...
If your hand could reach inside my heart, what would you do with it?
What if, you could turn back time. Would you take it?
I wouldn’t.
Although I’ve lost a lot of things.
Although I’ve been beaten many times.
Although I’ve lost best friends, mentors, heroes and even my roar.
Although, did I really lose it all?
Yes they took me for all I had. I was a lone soldier. Because I pushed others...
