I’m fighting the urge

to write a thousand words

I know I’ll regret for sure

Thinking it through

trying to keep cool

and make sure it really is you

That Ive been looking for

before I hit the floor

and sink back down some more

But when I see that smile

though it took me a while

my fears start to unpile

And I laugh here with you

more than I’d do

with anyone else it’s true

So I’ll keep this a secret

but I really do mean it
