With a quick pour, and sour screaming from both demons, they usher away into their corner.
“ Seriously, Poppy. I wish you would just act…normal…” Ema sighs, walking past the mess - that I was forced to make, no less.
“ Yea yea, Ema. Party ends in 5. I can’t keep up with all this hormonal nonsense going on in this house. It should be illegal.”
She gives me no protest as she stalks away down the hallway.

After countless swipes upon swipes, my eyes rest on a particular profile. In the picture, a male holding a deer that, assumingely he shot. As I instinctively swiped right, immediately a notification popped on the top of the screen.

This can’t be happening.
This whole time of swiping right on random people- I haven’t matched with a single person. And now- I have?
My heart rate instantly goes up, as the thoughts spew from my head. I have to talk to him. I have to interact possibly outside the comfort of my own home. This….

I tune out the party, as I stare at the profile of this dude. As I look into it more, I realize that most of his hobbies, actually intrigue me.

The more I read, the more I feel drawn.

And so, for once in my pathetic life- I did.
Screw possible consequences, weird social interactions.
This has to be fate.
I make no attempt to redirect the message as it sends, plastered on the screen.
“ You know, out of the whole place in this damned world, I rather be in the deepest pits of hell than here with you.” Her tone was filled with venom, snapping at the petite woman beside her.
“ Pfft, sure sure. Empty threats don’t scare me, Skylar.”
The woman- or Skylar, snarled, huffing and puffing. The other woman, who put on a brave face is named Creed. No one knows why her family named her that, or if she truly has a family.
Lastly, in the corner of the room is our youngest-Shane. Shane is the quiet of the bunch, but always…brooding so to speak.
“ So…why are we here again?” Creed speaks, her tone low. Skylar makes no retort, or movement to the grey-eyed female. Creed gives Shane the side eye, standing up.
“ Well, you all are so fun to toy with, sorry to cut the party short but it’s best to leave.”
Creed strides towards the door, grasping onto the handle and twisting. And twisting, and twisting.
“…Sky dearie, what the actual FU-“
“ Don’t you dare blame me for this situation, albino. I played no part.”
“ Of course you did you prick! You caused us to be in this stupid, damp room for one of the most valued holidays in the world. If you weren’t getting so hansy with that bast-“

Shane was used to this bickering. Both Creed and Skylar always tried to kill each other, no matter what. They threw insult after insult, slurs and phrases that shouldn’t be even considered.
And to think we were all friends at one point, Shane thought.
Shane didn’t understand when they went wrong, or even if they did. They used to playful bicker, but what happened?
Maybe it was the Prince that tore them all apart. Prince Rowan of Welsh, the kingdom that they we’re currently in. Welsh all toyed with their hearts, especially Shane’s.
Sometimes, she can still feel his touch lingering. Shuddering, she clears her through, grabbing the attention of the two toddlers.
“ We won’t be leaving this room anytime soon until we get it together. You both know that. “
Shane’s voice was calm and collected, yet it was so misleading on the inside. She burned with rage, desperation and fear of what these two women could do to each other. To her.
“ Did we ask for your input, whore?” Creed snarls out, glaring at Shane. If looks could kill, Shane would be long past dead.
“…Whore? Why are you calling her a damn whore when she barely touches anyone. Honestly, check the mirror Albino. You’re the whore here-“

No matter how hard they yell, Shane can’t help but flinch. No matter how far she tries to hide from her past, it always catches up to her, and bites her right back in the ass.
‘We used to be so close, so kind…kinda. Did Rowan plant seeds of doubt in all of our minds, to separate us?’
‘That had to be it. I mean, looking at the scene in front of me- Skylars going to rip out someone’s throat…for insulting me…’
Skylar’s eyes maroon shimmer with wrath, her grip tightening on the hilt of her dagger. Yet, she makes no move.
Shane stays quiet, partially afraid of what will go down. It seems like whenever she uses her voice, someone comes to take her down.
Skylar breathes, her fingers easing off the dagger.
“ Okay…listen you two. None of this will be resolved with us insulting each other.”
“ Ha, says you. You started this whole-“
“ Creed, for once in your life shut that mouth. Can’t you see Skylars just trying to make things right?”
Creed stares at the youngster, sighting.
“ Continue, Sky.”
“ Thank you…listen. We all are pissed about being played by the prince. It’s like he wanted to split from the start, since we oh so heavily rely on each other for support. So, let’s play him back. Forget all that we witnessed. It is the most important day of the year- Lunea Solice. Ruining this day will tear him down to the meer pegs he left us. However…”
Skylar flicks her hand out, pointing at Creed.
“ Apologies, and I shall do the same.”
Creeds mouth is agape, startled. ‘Since when is Skylar calm and empathetic,’ she thinks.
“ Shane, home girl…I’m sorry for calling you a whore, a slut- all the things. That damn prince really played us, huh?”
Shane nods, mumbling a quiet acceptance.

Skylar pulls her dagger out, it’s metal gleaming in the dark cellar they were placed in by the sergeants long ago.

Setting her tea down to the nearby nightstand, she crawls towards me, eyes heavy. I stare, motionless as her face is nearly inches away from my own

“ And since I got a taste, I want more…” her eyes held so much emotion, I’m light headed. She has me pinned against the bed frame, her cool eyes meeting my frantic ones.
“I-p-uh..”
She backs up, giggling uncontrollably.
“ Look at you! Some smooth talking making you all flustered and bothered. Ha- you’re such a subm-“
As quickly as I could- I cover her mouth.

Her eyes flash hurt, until they mix. Conjuring.
Before I could pull away to explain I wasn’t upset with her, this girl had the audacity to lick my hand.
I sat there, contemplating life as she bursts out laughing.

Aiden nods, for once obeying. And plus, calling her ‘darling’ has gotten more comfortable for myself within the morning we spent together.
“ Remember, be more gentle this time. This isn’t a villain needing to be pounded in.”

My face flushes hot, trying to focus on the recipe in front of me. Who knew that one of the top hero’s was such a….flirt?

Glancing to my side, I see her perfectly crack both eggs, putting them into the silver bowl.

“ Already got it Z. What are we making anyways?”
I hand her the measuring spoons, as I go to the stovetop.
“ Do you want waffles or pancakes?”
“ Ooo, uh. Hm…what do you want Z?”
I look back at her, her eyes soft and gentle. As my back was turned, I see she poured the flour along with the rest of the dry ingredients, however…

“ I’m asking you, sugar…” I say, facing her
“ Sugar? Pfft- why sug-“
It was my chance to cut her off.
I pull her close to me, wiping the stray flour on her cheek.
“ Well…you taste like sugar. Is that so wrong to call you?”
Her eyes shine bright, with her cheeks flushed.
“ I-Z stop it. This isn’t fair!”
“ It is fair, Sugar. Alls fair in Love and War.”
She puffs her cheeks out, crossing her arms

Silence envelopes the room as I prep the waffle maker. Every now and then, Aiden peeks over to see what I’m doing. Eventually, we have both our servings of waffles made, with us sitting in the living space with our plates present.
“ Well, how is it?” I ask, fidgeting with the couch. Ever since I did…whatever that was, she’s been quiet. Behaved. Is she upset at me? At what I said? She is like sugar though- personality wise. Was it too much? What if-
“ You’re overthinking things Z- it’s amazing. Did you not think I would enjoy it?” She looks at me.
“ I…I wasn’t thinking of that actually. My food is decent- no wonder why you are still here.” I chuckle, cutting the waffle into a smaller piece to chew on.
“ Well?” She sets her fork down, pushing away the tray table. She moves closer to me, holding my hand.
“ Speak up”
“ Well…I just…”
I’ve already shown vulnerability, so why is this so difficult?
“ I…I’m sorry…are you sure you want to be with…me?”
Her gaze softens, grasping onto my other hand.

“ I….I’m a villain. Looked down upon. Just a unwanted, filthy, disgusting villain that…doesn’t deserve a happy ending. I’ve…hurt people and…I…I’ve never done this before and I just…feel like I can’t help you…satisfy…whatever you want from me.”
Tears shoot down my face, with Aiden watching. Her eyes…

“ Zack…you’ve never hurt anyone on purpose during our fights. Even if they do get banged up…I see your eyes. Those cunning, caring eyes. And I chose you for solely that reason. I don’t understand why you’re a villain, but you aren’t a good one.”
I stare at her, taken aback.
“ I don’t mean you like suck, we’ll you do but- not the point. You aren’t meant to be a villain, Z. And I chose you because you aren’t going out of your way to hurt others. And…you do realize this is my first relationship as well, right?”
She grips onto my hands, caressing my thumb with her own.
“ I might be a flirt and can go too far but that’s who I am. You seem to enjoy it too, so what’s wrong with that? Just shows that I’ll be taking the lead in this relationship.”
She smiles, closing the space between us.
“ Admit it, Z. You’re stuck with me. And I wouldn’t want it any other way. You aren’t just any weird, rude, villain.”
She lightly kisses my nose, then shoved her lips onto mine.
I let out a grunt, falling back onto the couch. Aiden’s on top of me, a huge grin plastered on her face.

The clock provides much ambiance as I stare at the laptop screen. The cursor blinks slowly, with the document plastered with little ideas.
I need a solid plot line. And fast.

It’s currently Friday night.
I’m not one to procrastinate, but no ideas appeared lately. I’ve looked everywhere- nature, the small town an hour away- trying to fill some much needed inspiration.
I’ve even went to books.
Maybe that’s why I’m so late. I’ve read countless books this past week. From fantasy to sci fi, I tried to conjure a plot line that makes sense.
If only those were stand alone books.
So here I am, at a complete loss. I move the mouse slightly to awaken the screen in front of me. The time reads 12 am. It’s Saturday.
Only 1 more day until the deadline.
I can’t do this
I’m a failure
I close the laptop, sighing. That’s enough for now.
I head to the kitchen to make myself some tea. Opening the cabinet, I’m met with cobwebs.
Right- I need to go shopping.
The thought makes my stomach turn- I’d have to deal with people. Plus the drive is so long, I partially wish I would’ve bought a house closer to the town. But being alone in the middle of the woods is a comfort. Maybe I should have the main character live in the middle of nowhere.
I grab a pen and write the small idea down on a billing envelope.
Living far from civilization is a partially good thing. Even though it fuels my social anxiety, it keeps you in tune with nature. Hearing the owls hoot and the wolves howl- it’s a reminder that we really aren’t the only ones on this planet.
I close the cabinet, and look in the fridge instead. The sight is the same- with only sticks of butter and cheese on the top shelf.
I really need to go shopping. Shutting the fridge, I head to my bedroom to get ready for bed.
As I lay there, I stare at the ceiling. Why did I think being a writer was a great full time job? No one told me the problems that lie, like barely having enough money to supply yourself. Or being forced to overwork yourself to the point of neglect.
I shut my eyes, hoping that I would be able to get somewhat of sleep tonight, even if my thoughts are keeping me awake. I feel myself slipping into slumber until a loud gunshot awakes me.
I open my eyes, groaning. I glance at the clock- 1 am. What in the world?
I stumble out of bed, dragging my feet to the front door. As I open it, another gunshot rings out.
“ the heck…”
The sky is dark, as it should be. The small porch light has moths fluttering all around it- everything seems normal.
As normal as a man on the foot of my stairs, bleeding out.
I stare at the corpse for a few seconds, contemplating what to do. Do I bring him to the hospital? Bury him? Who shot him? Is this a homicide? Should I call the police? What do I-
“ c- can you stop staring and help me for heavens sake…” the voice startles me out of thought, my attention focusing on him again.
“…right…” I stare, still in shock.
“ Lady I’m…b-bleeding out here…I’ll answer everything once I’m not on the verge of…death…”
That did make sense. It was at least human decency to help someone in need. I mentally facepalm myself, not having social interaction is killing me.
“ okay…how do I…”
“ I’ll walk, idiot hunter shot me in the shoulder. Just…help me up…”
I grab the man’s left arm, slowly lifting him up. He leans most of his weight into me as we walk into the house, mud and blood dripping onto the floor.
“ sit on the couch, I’ll get some supplies…”
“ wait…” he grunts, eyes piercing my own
“ you need to get this bullet out of my shoulder…my body will do the rest just….grab it..” his eyes are glossy, breathing shallow.
“…you can’t die on me…they think I’m the one who-“
“ I’m not going to die woman, just get the damn bullet out of me so I can heal properly…”
He snaps, eyes shut. I can see his fangs glistening with red.
Is he….

Heal him. It’s totally easy pulling a bullet wound from a mysterious man that shows up at my door in the early wee hours of the morning.

I rush to the bathroom, grabbing everything my eyes set upon. Gauze, bandaids, washcloth, rubbing alcohol- the list goes on. The last on my list is small tweezers. These definitely won’t work but I rather not use my hands for this.
When I return the man is still there, now shirtless. Now I can somewhat see him, he has sandy brown hair with tan skin to accommodate. And that wound…
But something is different. The wound is gone- completely healed. There’s blood still on the floor, with small beats on the carpet.
“ How…”
“ Hunter didn’t shoot too deep as I expected. Pulled them out…thanks I guess for trying to help but, I best be on my way.”
He stands up, his amber eyes glowing.
“ W-what are…you.? No one heals that quickly from a gunshot wound-“
“ Damn darling, I thought you were a little smarter than that. You seem like the bookworm. You’ve had to read something bout us. Do I have to shift to show you or something? Give you a little hint?”
His amber eyes gleam with a sadistic glow, with his smirk showing off his fangs. I’m cornered, about to be feasted upon.
“Y-you’re….a vampire…?” I whisper.
A look of disgust appears, him scoffing.
“No idiot, a werewolf.”
“ And please tell me how you get a code blue on the ‘happy swing’?” Jess swigs her head back, laughing hysterically. Her laugh was piercing- even for a banshee. She clears her throat before speaking again.
“ I have no clue, babe. But someone’s ogre belly don’t feel so hot, they have to hit the reject button-“
I slap her hard on the arm, groaning.
“ Do not call me ‘babe’ first of all. Second, I’m trying to eat my pop rocks and enjoy my break at the same time. Now please, shoo” I exclaim, shoving more of these sweet cavities down my throat.
Why did I agree to work at a amusement park?
The pay? The faces?
Maybe the pay, but. Only you see the weirdest things here. That you can never unsee.
For example, I was loading children off this ride called Zoomer. It goes in the air, back and forth, and does a quick 45 mph speed at the end. This kid , a human child, squatted low and twerked at me.
Twerked. At. Me.
Usually I never see a human at a mythical amusement park but still- sending a wrong message buddy.
I had another time where this kid while running a smaller rollercoster called ‘ Little Lightening’. Every now and then I have teen nymphs and all sorts of creatures ride, yet that day was different.
He looked around my age; his skin blue like the ocean. He checked me up and down, then asking “ how old are you, sugar?”
I stood there, whispering 16 under my breath. He never ran so fast out of his life.
I’m guessing he was older than he looked. Better than being a pedophile, I suppose. Such shenanigans of working at a amusement park. In the middle of July, anyways.
The question still looms, however.
“ Seriously though, Jess. How do you throw up on happy swing. It isn’t that fast.” I bring up, gathering my garbage in a small pile.
Jess appears at my side, putting her hat back on. I assume she already clocked out on this one, meaning her lunch is over.
“ Dunno, Chrissy. You know ogre’s bellies are sensitive to motion. Anyways, back to the grind. I’ll tell you if I see any strangulations my way.” She snickers as she heads outside to the busy, murky crowd.
Ah, the strangulation. Almost forgot about that. I was in Little Moblins when a small fae child ended up sitting next to a child satyr. Needless to say, things got out of hand.
The fae child was strangling the satyr, not once but twice. Using my hearing, I heard the small gasps along with the mother fae screaming “ BILLY, BILLY STOP. NO.”
Like that would help lady.
In all reality why have a amusement park for a kind like us? I’m just a lowly mage who needs money.
People flock here and give me issues. So much fun indeed.
But, that was apart of the job. Anywhere I work, really.
I look down at the timer - 4:15. I got around 10 minutes left of sanity.
I put my earbuds in, absorbing the music from my phone at attempts for some sanity restored.
“ Stupid Ragweeds-“
“ How about you actually focus on the mission ahead of us, Cam. Not complaining about the climate.”
“ Like that’s going to help me not die from the elements, Fey.”
Parties. Possibly the bane of my existence. Out of all the places we can be, why a party. In a desert, no less.

The earpiece is stagnant, meaning someone is offline. Great. No sidekick on this bandwagon.
I walk towards the small bar side table, keeping to myself; my eyes on the crowd.
‘ Target Acquired, Cam. Well, I think.’ My earpiece jolts with life- with Fey’s voice strained.
“ What’s the matter Fey, see anyone accompanying them?” I mumble, sipping on some spiked fruit punch.
‘ I don’t see anyone, but problem is I…don’t know if they are actually going to be here-‘
“ I’m sorry?”
‘ We don’t know if the main man of the hour will be here. It’s a hit or miss. We gave invites to most people working nearby that office- so it had to extend somehow. I’m sorry Cam, just be-‘
I turn off the piece, rolling my eyes. Of course they send me to a mission, my first one, destined to fail. They really hate me that much.
Our intel said the assassin was to be invited to this party. A party planned by me, aka a spy. There is several undercover police in the shadows, waiting to strike.

However, how am I supposed to catch the man if he’s not even supposed to be here?

With a quick swig of my drink, I place it down. I’ve tried everything. I placed it far away from civilization - from police. I even put the wanted victim in harms way, like a fattened pig ready for slaughter.
This man has been so many chances- so where is he? The one he wants to kill is on the dance floor, with bodyguards afloat.
“ Hey darling, care to dance?”
A sultry voice appears behind me, deep with southern accent.
A woman with bright jade eyes with a slick black dress is in my face. Her curly blonde locks are untamed, with lips are puckered out, as if trying to seduce me.
“ uh, sure?”
She takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. Hand in hand, we slowly sway to the music. I’m not much of a dancer, so I stand awkwardly by her.
“ So are you Cameron Adler, the host of this event?” Her words are like whiskey to me.
She’s up to something, I suspect.
“ I would expect you to be…busy dancing with all these fine ladies this evening. But there you were, in a corner of your own party no less. Please remind me, sugar. What’s this fine party for?”

Her eyes pierce through my skull. And that’s not even half of it. She has a headstrong gaze, that just makes you feel small. Hot. Like a hot day in July, exhausted from the heat.

The part is true about my father. He died 9 months ago. However, the party isn’t for him. His legacy was built on abusing my mother with alcoholism. He isn’t to be celebrated in my eyes.
“ Goodness, I’m sorry for your loss Mr. Adler. However…”
She leans closer to me, arms wrapped around my torso. I can feel her steady breath on my ear, my heart pounding.
“ your father was…not a good man. Why celebrate his life when…well, you know..”
She has a grin like a madman; it’s making my heart pound. Why does she know this?
Unless-
Immediately, the lights above were shut off. Blackness enveloped the room as I hastily turn my earpiece back on.
‘ So you finally done pouting-‘
Gunshots and screams enter my ears. I reach in my pocket, scrambling for light.
Am I too late?
“ Just shut it for once Fey, I think I found our culprit. And they do not like a man one bit”
I pull my handgun out, turning the safety off.
‘ You think our culprit is a female? That actually cuts things down quite a bit.’
“ Keep talking, Fey. I’m going to investigate where our lovely lady is.”
Since the first initial gunshot, everyone has been put into a frenzy. With my flashlight on, I head to the back, the hilt of the gun in hand.
‘ Does she have green eyes and soft blonde hair? Curly?’
“ I-“
“ I’d put the gun away sugar. You may hurt yourself.”
I can feel a barrel pressed into my head. Fey questions my every move, asking my whereabouts. I drop the gun, kicking it away.
“ I’m suprised you can listen.”
The lights start to flicker, exposing the room.
The victim, the woman who was the target of all is laid dead behind her.
“ Why kill her, assassin?”
My voice is harsh and cold. I glare at the woman, who shrugs.
“ She is of many who are corrupt. She wishes to end this world as we speak. I’m just saving us another day of breath one day at a time.”
“ That woman, the Chief Executive was innocent. How do you-“
She rolls her eyes, dropping the gun lower.
“ I would explain more, yet you don’t seem to be the open mind kind of guy. But…”
Her eyes glint with pride, my ice turning cold.
“ Your father was the one who started this whole mess. I’m just trying to pick the pieces. And who you work for, heh. You are like your father, one way or another. That company you work for is built on abuse.”
Since when did villains get a happy ending? Usually the heroes in the story get the fame, the love, the desire by all

Sheets crumbled and legs scattered; her head in the crook of my neck. Whispering sweet, honey-laced nothings. I have no desire to move, to even dare awakening the woman beside me.
Since when do the villains get loved- by the hero, no less?
I recall the countless times we faced each other, playing the board like chess.
One step forward, two steps back.
This lasted for years, and years. Until…now?
What changed between us? Was it the bickering, or the monologue I oh so desperately played out? Maybe it was the subtle touches during our fights, so gentle and sweet.
Why does this woman- this hero- have a confidence like a bull. The strength like a sword- sharp and swift. She pinned me against my wall, mumbling ‘ I’m sick of you beating around the bush’.
Am I, though?
She launched herself onto me, her lips like a wildfire as her hands grasped at my brown locks. Why did I let her go further?

She’s now in my bed, sleeping peacefully. Her shallow breaths take mine away- she’s at ease.

Someone who fought her for ages. Someone who caused her a great nuisance. Ruining her days with my idiotic inventions and devices.
Did she like the fight I put up? Was that why she never threw me in jail, to keep this game beating; alive and well?
I’ve seen her battles before with others- she has no mercy on them. I’ve seen people be tossed like a rock into a stream- effortlessly, no less.
Truth be told, I’m terrified that she’ll do the same thing. And now that we’re, ever so close she’ll do the same thing as all the others.
Alas, she wouldn’t.
After the first kiss, more followed. Nothing too dangerous- she has a reputation to keep up, right? Maybe that was thrown away as well?
“ I’m sick and tired of playing this game with you, Zack”
Her voice was like honeysuckle; sweet yet seducing.
“ I’ve waited so long for you to finally say something, you men are dense idiots anymore”
Her lips land on my cheek, a smirk growing.
“ I always wanted you, Zack. You just are too deep into your work.”

“ Please say you want me too, Zack. I’ve seen how you act, how you graze me with your touch before a fight. When I let you go, a gaze of longing appears. Tell me it isn’t just me.”
I had no words for her in that moment. I only shook my head in agreement, before she ensnared me in affection.
The light peaks past my curtains, and for a minute I think all was a dream. A sweet, daring dream. Surely Unova wasn’t that courageous. I’m a villain, superhero’s don’t fall in love with us-
“ g’morning Z.”
My eyes shoot wide open, eyes glancing down to meet her green ones. She had a cheshire grin plastered on her face.
“ g-g-good morning…Unova…”
My voice trembled barely past a whisper. This was not a dream.
This was cruel reality.
Her fingers traces my jawline while sparks of fireworks explode within me.
“ you seem touch-starved Z. Not used to this?”
Hell, her giggles were alluring too. She cups my cheek within her hand, moving her lips towards my own.
“ Not going to talk? “
I shake my head no, too scared to speak.
She steals kisses off my lips, one after another. I have no words, nothing to protest. My actions are mushed and dissipated, along with my pride.
“ tsk tsk, you really are handsome with this bed head. “
My cheeks heat with warmth, my gaze leaving hers.
“ A-Aren’t you going to work, hero?”
She laughs, sitting up. She was in a shirt of my own, I realize.
“ Trying to get rid of me already? Zack, truly you wish me to stay much longer?”
“…I…Unova…”
Her smirk turns into a frown, eyes glinting.
“ My hero name is Unova, yes Zack. But right now, I’m Aiden.”
“ W-what happened to your suit?”
Her grin returns, possibly bigger than the last.
“ Well, after our…” her cheeks heat up a slight bit, however her eyes let out mischief. “ I wanted to trade it out for something more…comfortable…”
“…I…d-did we-“
“ ZACK NO”
I jump up, eyes widening. Did she just-
“ Nevula, are you all right? I heard yelling-“
“ I’m alright, Troy….how about you tell the others to take the day off. I need some….alone time.”
“ Yes Sire.”
Troy’s footsteps lead away from the room, while the bed creeks in protest.
Suddenly, arms wrap around my torso, attempting to pull me back to the bedside.
“ You sent your goonies away for the whole day? Makes me wonder what’s in that brain of yours, Z.”
She has a coy grin on her face as I look at her.
“ We need to discuss…how this is going to work out Aiden. You’re a hero and I’m…a villain.”
She huffs, throwing herself back to bed.
“ how about we just enjoy the day together, and ignore what roles we play, Zack.”
I lay beside her, grasping my hand into her own.
“ Just today we can be Zack and Aiden…no superhero or villain ties associated. But listen…d-darling. We need to discuss how this is going to work tomorrow. That’s…all I ask…”
She sits up, holding my hand tight.
“ I can do that, Z. However, we need to work on your flirting skills-“
“ Hush you, I’m still tired. I’d like to spend the morning in bed…with you…”
She cuddles close to my side, smiling softly.

Did you know that most plants ( veggies and fruits ) are mostly female?

Let me explain.
On some plants, like a watermelon, there are two flowers. One is the male, which has pollen. Then the other is the female flower which bears the fruit. In the beginning, you can tell the flower is female if there is a fruit growing behind the flower. It is unfertilized, resulting in the bees help.
Once the flower gets knocked up ( by the bees ), the fruit stays as the flower withers, then dies. Then soon enough; BAM. It’s a fruit.
So, just think, when you are eating watermelon, cucumbers, pumpkins - whatever.
You are eating a female plant.
Now, what about peppers?
Bell peppers, well. You would think they are all female with this kind of logic.
WRONG.
If a bell pepper has three bumps, it’s a male. ( don’t know when or HOW it changed, but I ain’t gonna judge. It’s 2023 ) 4 if it’s female. Now, that just boggles my brain. When, how?
And how about the tomatoes- don’t start me there. Some flowers have both parts in, so would that result in a female?

Well, now rolling back. The seeds.
Seeds provide all genetic information and code for the plant. Could the seeds be male and female?
Maybe, i don’t know.
But with this logic.

Why are we eating more female plants than males?
Why are we consuming females MORE when males provide the same nutritional value ( maybe? Possibly? Like bell peppers?)
There has to be a movement of some sort to protect these female plants, because feminism RULES ALL
so, next part of my thing is a general question:
Plants.
Plants take in CO2, and make oxygen. That’s a fact
They also, need water.
So, if we were going to live on Mars, right?
Why don’t we bring a bunch of water, some soil, and plants. Plant the plants all around, and let them have a feast with the CO2.
Problem solved, right?
As a totally smart person that totally has a degree in plants and space stuff I say yes.
