She walked in, her shoes filled with sand. She started to explore the house some more. “This is where I grew up,”She thought “And now it is filled with sand.” She thought. She went up the stairs, to her old bedroom. The girl starts walking around and looking at old memories. She picks up a old photo and stares at it for a few minutes. Suddenly, there is a knock at the door. “Who could that be? This place is abandoned.” The girl thinks with all her memories coming back. She goes back downstairs and looks out the window by the front door. No one is there. So she goes back upstairs to fill her head with memories. She is up there for about 5 minutes when the same knock comes from the door again. Two slow ones knock, knock, then two fast ones, knock-knock. The girl goes back down the stairs and this time stops short of the door. It is wide open. She stares at it in terror. There is a guy standing yards away from the house staring right back at her. Sand is rushing in. Then, the guy starts sprinting to the door. She slams the door right before the guys could slip in. She puts her back towards the dorr and slides down it until she is at the ground. Then she realizes, “Wait, how did I get here?” A scream wails through the house, but no one else can hear it. ❤️‍🔥

“Hey stop right there!” Yelled the cop, but Logan kept running. “You can’t catch me!” Logan teased. Logan turned the corner and there they were, 3 cops just waiting, knowing that he was going to be there. The cop that was chasing him quickly caught up and was now behind him. “OH COME ON!” Logan ran toward the cops at full speed and started fighting. Logan had the ability to turn everything into a laughing matter. Even if he was fighting 4 cops at a time. Logan was giggling the whole time.

THE NEXT DAY “So Logan, how would you explain how you keep laughing!” Asks Nancy Anne the reporter. “Well Nancy, all I really do is channel how everything would look if I was serious the whole time, then I see how it would end if I just laugh.” Logan braggingly stated. “I see, I see. Now one last question, what do you think about the impression you’ve made on everyone in this city?” Nancy asked. As Logan was thinking about how to answer he looked out of the window that was right next time the desk he was sitting at with the reporter. There were people surrounding the building. Everbody wasn’t scared of Logan they were amazed. They wouldn’t turn him in. To everyone else he seemed like some kind of evil mastermind. They liked him. “I am glad people are thinking of me in a harmless kind of way. I really appreciate it.” Logan stated proudly. Then the reporter concluded and the show was over. Right when Logan was leaving on go the camera crew people patted him on the back and said, “Look at the crowd differently.” Logan gave him a weird look as he walked off. But when he got to the main ground, he totally understood. The city didn’t think of him as an evil mastermind, they thought of him as a kid who was trying his hardest to be just like people in comics.

Kate was writing a book for her English class. She chose to do a love story. She hadn’t realized until last night, that it was actually based of her real life. Kate had this huge crush on someone in her math class. His name was Jonathan. Kate and Jonathan started talking at the beginning of the school year and they became really good friends. That’s how the book started off as. Except the main characters were Rachel and Caleb. Rachel and Caled were friends sense Kindergarten and Caleb had discovered feelings for Rachel in 8th grade.

Kate got Jonathan’s phone number, and they were texting one Wednesday night. Jonathan invited Kate to a party on Friday night. He gave Kate the address and all the details.

The day of the party, Kate went to Jonathan in math class to thank him for inviting her. But Jonathan said something Kate wasn’t expecting. “Yeah, okay. Look, I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to come anymore.” “What why?!” Kate demanded. “Some people just think you’re to nerdy to come.” Jonathan realized what he said “So you agree with them?” Kate asked “Well, yeah.” Jonathan stuttered “Jonathan, you’ve met me before, you know I am not that person.” “Yeah but others don’t know, so why don’t you just stay home tonight.” Jonathan said. Kate thought about how she was going to say no. Then she got an idea. “Okay.” “Thanks.” Jonathan said as he walked away.

That night when Kate got home, she got ready for the party. But before she left she continued her book. Rachel rejected Caleb when he asked her out. So Caleb went and asked another girl out to make Rachel jealous. Kate drove up to the address and got out of the car. From the look of the house there was definitely a party. When Latw got in there she went straight to Jonathan’s brother.

Kate woke up and went straight to her computer and wrote everything down. She had finished her English Language Arts paper! And all it took was a really good dream.

Then we jump. When we say the cliff it looked like a long fall, but really it’s so short. As I was falling my life flashed before my eyes. I saw my mom, a single parent who tries their hardest to stay happy for her kids. Next, I saw my father, who passed away. I immediately started crying, my tears flew up above me. I looked over at my sister, I could see her tears flying up above her too, she must’ve seen the same thing I had.

We hit the water hard with a big splash. When I came up to the surface her hand wasn’t in mine. I went back under and saw her falling slowly, I swam down, grabbed her and pulled her towards the surface. I dragged her to the side of the lake and cradled her in my lap.

When they first came to Earth it was rather sudden. They crash landed, we thought they were dead! But they came crawling out with a sign that said Zertelk. They were a beige color, and had either one, two, or three eyes. The Zertelk walked on what looked like a cross between tentacles and hands. They didn’t have noses but the had one ear on the right side of their body. When they came out of the ship, they were jumping around, I thought they were just excited but I later learned, that is how they walk.

I stared at it. Right there in front of me. My vision became blurry at the sight of it! I couldn’t stand it! I collapsed to the ground and grabbed the book and hugged it with all my might, tears streaming dow my face. My nose running like crazy.

The next morning I woke to yelling. My mother and father were always fighting. “SLAM!” The back door shut leaving nothing but the echo wailing through the house.

I remembered what happened last night. I went to the edge of my bed and looked to see the book gone. It had disappeared. I thought maybe I stashed it somewhere before I went to bed.

There I was, paddling for my life downstream. Well not actually gor my life, but just because of one simple thing. See, Audrey was a nice girl. She was smart and courageous, but she was also mean. Unfortunately for me, she didn’t show it until 6 months into our relationship. She started making me do all the work int wh relationship! Audrey would amke me drive bwr everywhere just so she could sit and text to her friends while still gping somewhere. Keep in mind, she had her drivers lisence.

I couldn’t stand her so I broke up with her today. I wanted to wait until we were on a little trip not far from home, so that she wouldn’t make a big deal out of it because we were on vacation.But boy was I wrong! Because of her mean personality, she started throwing things at me! So I got a canoe and started paddling downstream. Now I need to find a safe place to get off and go back home! Hopefully she doesn’t fund me there!

Me and Levi used to be inseparable. Then we turned 16 and strated freshman year of high school. We started hanginh out less and less, then soon we almost never saw each other. We both havw these friend groups. In mine there’s, my boyfriend Jackson, Izzy, Maria, and Alex. In Levi’s he has everyone on the cheer team, and everyone on the football team. He is also on the football team. Levi is the boy that everyone wants to be around. We were in the same Honors English class. He and I are in the morning, and most of the people from his group, and all of the people from my group are in the afternoon one.

Our parents have never liked each other. We both don’t know why, they have never told us. I have a suspicion that they told him and not me because they think he is “responsible”. Well I am just as responsible as he is!

One afternoon I got home from school and there he was. Sitting on the couch in front of the TV screen.

He looked back and said,” Oh, hey.”

He paused like he forgot my name. We had been friends from kindergarten to 8th grade. How could he not rememeber my name!

“What are you doing here?” I said it like I was looking at a spoiled egg. The words just slipped put of my mouth. “Sorry. I didn’t mean it like that.” I said again.

“Its okay. My mother is in the hospital so your mom said I could stay here.” Levi said. Levi’s parents are divorced and his dad now lives in Oklahoma whereas we live in New Jersey.

“First off, I am sorry your mom is in the hospital, and second off, out parents hate eachother. Why did she let you stay here?”

“Sorry again.” I said. It just slipped out!

“Nah your good. I would be confused too. And to why your mom let em stay here, I don’t know, I think she just felt bad for me.”

I shrugged and went to my room upstairs. Little did we know that my mom felt bad because she did something very wrong.

We discovered it the next morning when there were cops outside our house. Turns out my mom was being arrested because she put poison in Levi’s mom’s drink.

After that day, I went to live with my friend Maria. Her parents were always nice! I haven’t heard from mom and I am not sure I want too. If she poisoned Levi’s mom, what else could she do?
