My brittle hands find yours

We waltz around our living room

At a slow patient pace

Our steps in time

Your hand finds the small of my back

And soon we have entered a high, the only thing we notice is the music and us

50 years, so much has changed

Your once rough calloused hands

Are now a soft wrinkled blanket

My once hesitant smile was second nature

Every party, event, wedding...

Sometime at 7pm

There was a body

Filled with fairy poison

With yellow blood coming out

Of the elf’s lungs

Dressed like a cleric

And they tried to help

The scene

But got mirdered instead...

On Tuesday,

The 3rd day

Of March, 1960,

A young man was

Discovered to be

Dead

In his home.

His joints,

Dislocated.

His bones,

Broken.

Cause of death?

Carbon monoxide.

Poison in the lungs,

A sickening

Way to go out,
