Memory breathes Memory dies Memory goes Memory flows
Memories are like the leaves blowing through the breeze Memories are like a roller coaster or a giant hill. They are either good or bad, maybe in between.
They can be loving They can be sad They can be heart wrenching They can be challenging
Whatever memories we may have They are still our memories We keep in our heads
Memory breathes In Constantly working Out
Inhaling the new In Absorbing experience Out
Exhaling the old In Unnecessary filler Out
Haven’t used it lately In You don’t need it Out
But if you want to keep it In You’ll have to hold your breath Brain brimming with information Overwhelming impenetrable mix You must release the old to take in the new Out
Sometimes it’s best to forget In Lest we live to regret Out
To appreciate the good In But to live with the bad Out
But if you hold your breath In And never stop Out
You’ll reach a point In Where you pass out Out
Memories are what define us In For who are we without our pasts? Out
This world we live in In Won’t forever last Out
Memory breathes, Touches for the bereaves. Past inhaled, Happiness once regaled.
Photos reacquaint, Bent to your would be saint. Music realign, Strings pulled back on your pain.
Glasses tinted, Hurt all but stinted. Love lost, Heart numb at a cost.
Memory reigned, Affection undermined. Body numb, Alone you succumb.

Memory breathes Some moments last forever whether it was good or bad Some word still wander my head , even if they were years ago .I remember
I remember going with my aunt and buying toys and losing them in the car although she scolds us every time about it.
Certain memories replay over and over never stopping I’m too tired to continue whatever this is
Memory breathes Automatically recording The moments of life We may forget Or remember
Like a breath Some are deeper Or smaller But still part Of the bigger picture
Taking in the vision Absorbing what may come with it And consequently Breathing out Something it replaced
Smell the roses Blow out the candle Smell the emotions Blow out the battle We breathe, just as memory does And stop, just as memory dies
Memory breathes And like a strand of hair Tickling your cheek, It’s breath tickles you
A strand of hair, You can toss it back But a memory, it stays Glued to you
It’s breath Nuzzling your chin Like a scratchy knitted scarf Tied way too tightly
It eventually turns From an itchy sock Into a tickle monster
It’s claws Scratching Scarring Begging for freedom
It’s breath Gasping for oxygen For space, for love Begging to be seen
As a kid You remember giggling But you don’t remember The ticklish feeling Until you feel it again
But what if, The tickle monster Never stops tickling you?
What if, You run out of air From laughing so hard So it gets painful?
A memory’s breath That’s what it does
It tells you the same joke Over and over Until it isn’t funny So your smile crumbles Like a falling tower
The pain, it heals But healing creates scars Scars over your heart That was once Perfectly pristine
But it’s yours. It’s your broken Scarred Hidden Hopeless heart
Memories breath. They live. They ache. They attack. They are real. And they are yours.
Let them be yours. Because without them, That bruise on your knee You got when you fell off your bike
The one that looks like A purplish lightning bolt The one that held a story Wouldn’t exist
Without them, You wouldn’t hate But you couldn’t love Without them, You would grieve But you couldn’t grow
Without them, You wouldn’t feel like the dark With no brightness
But you couldn’t feel closure either After a loved one’s death You couldn’t share stories Or seek advice
You’d be stuck In a cyclone Full of nothingness
Memories They are the one friend That will always squeeze back When you take their hands 💙
Sincerely, Caralia🫶🏼
So I turned memories into a friend sort of type figure! I never imagined memories this way before, this just came to me. Memories are tough, especially the ones you just can’t forget but others don’t remember. But they are part of us as people, we need them sometimes. Because sometimes they’re the only thing we can hold on to. 💙💙💙💙💙
Memory breathes, a phrase that stirs the soul, In love's embrace, where memories take their toll. Through darkest hours, when shadows cast their might, Love's memory persists, forever shining bright.
In yonder days of youth, when hearts were pure, Love's flame ignited, steadfast and secure. A tender touch, a whispered vow so sweet, Etched in memory's realm, where moments meet.
Though time may pass, and trials may unfold, Love's memory endures, a tale yet untold. Through tempest's rage and sorrow's bitter sting, Love's memory lingers, like a sacred thing.
When storms of life assail, and hope seems lost, Love's memory persists, no matter the cost. In darkest nights, when tears begin to flow, Love's memory whispers, a solace to bestow.
For love, dear friend, is timeless and divine, A flame that burns, through every ebb and line. In memory's embrace, it finds its eternal grace, A beacon of light, in life's uncertain space.
So let us cherish love's memory dear, For in its presence, there is naught to fear. Through ages past and yet to come anew, Love's memory breathes, forever in view.
