Writings
A door closing A new page in the book Quit your dozing And take a look
A new chapter of life Old decisions don’t matter Cut out the past with a knife What happened before was just a slice on the platter
Get ready for what’s ahead Don’t stay on the past Don’t write the book you’ve already read And don’t go down the hill fast
Start something new Try something scary Begin something fresh And it won’t seem as weary
When something comes to an inevitable close That it will not matter anymore That may end up forgotten by most And why it is even there just to hurt, shame, or bore
You have to just remember That what happens back then, no matter how atrocious or strange That what you did yesterday or in September Are just ways to make you learn how to change
Because life is packed with changes that serve as a start For something wiser, happier, and just much better Ultimately building your life, not tearing it apart To make you a joyful, successful go-getter
In whatever you choose to do In whatever you choose to become In whatever makes you feel positive, not so blue In whatever happens to you regardless if it is good or makes you less than some
It is all up to you With how you decide to change With what you do Either to change into someone who is confident and content or evil and in a worse range
What is a new beginning you seek? Is the change you want to learn, you want to become, very bright or very bleak?
When I was a kid, I have many dreams. All of my thoughts were about how to make it happen. So, just like others, fighting for what I believed. Along the way, ups and downs, happy and sadness, brought even more joy to my daily life. I was hopeful for the future and confident that my dreams will become true.
All these wonderful things suddenly stopped as a unexpected event striked me. I was diagnosed with epilepsy, and my doctor told me that my body condition was not good. I started to questioning myself why this happened, but very soon I fall into lazy and depressed. For a long time, I couldn’t get over the consequences brought by my illness.
I remember that day, a breaking news story woke me up. I started to think how am I able to refresh myself? I wanted to be different from the past. Starting with the little things, adjust the daily routine to have more time for developing myself rather than sleeping. Then, write a paragraph daily about my feelings each days. Doing something meaningful everyday. I believe that as the day goes on, it will become a good habit for me.
Now I’m living with my new self. Everyday I wake up, there is something new for me to discover. I like this kind of feelings, as this might be another way to reach my goals!
Is your depth perception skewed? I wonder as I’m just looking at you. This being one of my first glances and thoughts. Maybe it’s just completely shot.
You see the surface and are aware. Yet to you that’s all that’s really there. The chest at the middle of the maze, is something you search for many days.
Perhaps you lack intuition. Or is my pessimism just a condition, you wouldn’t want to heal. Your body can’t tell me how you feel.
When will this ice between us break. The frost hiding what makes us ache. I’m ready for it to melt. And become the Eleanor to your Roosevelt.
Are your pupils even that sharp? To see me in this solidified water with the carps.
In a world of shadows, where darkness did reside, A soul emerged, battered, but with a flicker deep inside. A rough childhood, a path filled with pain, But a new beginning awaited, like a gentle rain.
As the years went by, this soul grew strong, Learning to rise above the things that went wrong. With every setback, they found the strength to cope, Nurturing resilience, filling their heart with hope.
And then, as an adult, they embarked on a quest, To find their true home, where their heart could rest. Through winding roads and unfamiliar lands, They followed the call of destiny's hands.
In a town so quaint, with its streets lined with grace, They found their sanctuary, their own special place. A community of kindred spirits, ready to embrace, The person they had become, with love and grace.
In this newfound home, colors painted the air, Each day a canvas, a masterpiece to share. They danced with joy, their spirit set free, Embracing the beauty of life's tapestry.
And so, this person with a past so rough, Found their true home, where they had enough. A new beginning, like a phoenix's rise, They soared to the heavens, embracing the skies.
May their journey inspire, may it light the way, For those seeking solace in a brighter day. In this tale of resilience, let hope be unfurled, For every new beginning can heal a wounded world.
Everyday I wake up and the sun rotates the entire way around the Earth just to say hi to me
And on days I’m stricken with insomnia the moon stays up just to keep me company
The sky is a canvas of blue that changes colors each day to suit the paint in its canvas
Black at night to let the stars shimmer brilliantly like gemstone piercings on the velvet fabric of reality
Shades of every color to let the sun eminate its brilliance with a backdrop to match it, a rug rolled out with all the glory of a king walking a parade during an orchestra of trumpets and cheers
Each and every day, these things are promised to me
They show me I can be the same
I can embody the wonders of what I’m surrounded with and engrave them into my circadian rhythm
So my heart beats with the same push pull tandem of the sun and moon
Every day is a new beggining
And new promise from the sun and moon
That beauty is inherit in nature
And
That I am apart of the very nature I speak of
If only I face the past So this life of mine will last If only I didn’t fear the ruin Too many loose screws to screw in Yet, here I am stuck on a ledge Only way is back which I can’t kedge If I stay here I go nowhere If I leave the fears will ensnare But I am already covered in scars From my skin, my heart, emotional bars So I turn, make my way back Yes, I faced all that I lack And you know what I found? A new pathway on the desolate ground.
The forest is quiet. Even the trees are still, Expectant for the first Glimpse of sunrise.
Even the lake, which Was covered in whitecaps All day, is perfectly still. If it were colder, I’d think The lake was frozen From an early bout of Winter, too early For the snow.
There. A song Pierces the air, Splitting over the water. A pinecone falls from A tree, thudding against The ground before Rolling through the grass And into the lake. The forest was waking.
