In the still of night, a canvas black, Stretched across the sky, a cosmic track. A shadow creeps, a creeping dread, As light retreats, and darkness is fed.
A blood moon rises, a heart's eclipse, A splatter of blood on black's abyss. Each drop a tale of love's demise, A broken heart, and tear filled eyes.
She gazes up at the pale moonlight, A blood moon in the dead of night. A spectacle of grief and art, A canvas black with a broken heart.
With her blood-like hues, the moon marks the sky tonight, and with gratitude I accept her invite. I take three deep breaths, release my mental fight, and let go of my negative blight. The moon’s red passion is now at full height and she and I magically unite. Our fiery flames combine, fuelling my appetite For calm and reflective insight. My incantations are answered without slight, and her crimson gaze shines down on me with delight. I relish in her selflessness with all my might! To compensate her generosity, I dance under her light. And with her celestial glow, we’re both spectacularly bright.
In the realm of shadows cast, A celestial dance begins at last. Beneath a starlit sky's embrace, A blood moon rises with mystic grace.
Its crimson hue ignites the night, A captivating sight, a celestial rite. Like a heart's pulse, it beats with power, Shimmering in this bewitching hour.

An itching under the skin as the light of the moon drenched them in its celestial glow.
An event once a month that changed Luna from friend to respected foe.
This moon was stronger than why they’d felt before, and the transformation was intense with blood pouring from each pore.
Fur in its place all tangled and matted.
Yet a feeling of lust, a craving of more.
The moon was intense, but they loved it so like the immediate satisfaction after an itch you know?
A howl at their goddess in the sky above As Sol and Luna combine in an act of love.
Their humanity shedded in the blood moon’s glow.
i often use the moon when i write i always personify her as she sometimes just a friend or guardian sometimes she represents me
the blood moon matches my heart as it bleeds in that red hue i reach my hand out to the sky look, it matches my wrist too
we block the moon from the sun’s glow is it a break from suffocation? it’s too bad we’ll never know if she lives in eternal damnation
the moon is full of sadness she tries not to let it show she curls up inside herself so that no one here will know
and that’s why we have phases why we have eclipses too she’s telling you her story like how it’s mine that i tell you
so next time you go outside at night please tell the moon hello because she’s getting lonely up there strong and brave, but still alone.
~Edgaress Allan Poe
You open the door for me Let me walk out first Stand outside Wait for you to lock up Look into the sky there it is a blood moon Why is it that the moon is referenced with us so much? I point it out You look up I shiver from the night time breeze As I walk quickly to your car I sit in the passenger seat and stare at it as we talk Then a memory floods into my brain when I was little The clear night sky in the summer I would love to watch it follow me Where ever I went it followed I would look up at it and wonder if whoever I was gonna end up with was looking at it too The normal cliche you hear about in movies Now years later I get to stare at it and Admire it , with you in my life The white pearl in the sky that never leaves Or in this case the blood moon
