POEM STARTER
Write an imagism poem.
An imagism poem is often short and sweet as it describes the literal appearance of a scene. It avoids overly-wordy and poetic features like metaphor and symbolism.

Trees are decorated with ice.
Even when bare, they hide the sun.
Snow covers the ground.
On the hillside is a trailer with gingham curtains.
Near its rear, a column of steam starts to rise.

Next to a grave carved out from stone.

My hand felt the smoothest seat.
Felt like the fur of a small pup.
The spine in my back straighten itself.
Sitting comfortably in my white fluffy chair.
Breathing softly into the fresh air,
As my tense muscles relaxed into calmness.
Releasing all of the stress from before.
And therefore, I shall start all over again.
To experience, this welcoming relief....
