Write a Petrarchan Sonnet on the theme of Autumn.
A Petrarchan Sonnet has 14 lines; the first 8 must have a rhyme scheme ABBAABBA, the last 6 can have variable rhymes, but are normally split into 2 sets of 3 lines.
In golden hues, the leaves gently fall,
A tapestry of colors, nature's art,
The crisp air whispers, a lover's call,
As autumn weaves its magic in each heart.
The sun sets earlier, the nights grow long,
Yet warmth lingers in the amber glow,
A symphony of nature's sweetest song,
As autumn's beauty continues to show.
The harvest moon shines bright in the sky,
Guiding us through the season's embrace...
The simple bright of the Autumn light
Breaks the shadow of a man.
Reveals the freezing winter land
He has been dealing inside.
Never does but always might
Leave his mind and search a friend.
Always thinks the pain will end.
The lie he tells, the bait he bites.
Winter’s coming and he keeps waiting
For the the rain to fill his hole.
Begging the skies for Autumn to leave.
It was never about th...
All around, the leaves are bleeding
Full of their beautiful death
While sipping in their last breath
And earth’s rotation gives her heeding
That its almost time for seeding.
Nuts and seeds fall, searching for planted depth
While creatures scurry to collect them from the soil’s chilled breadth.
Squirrel and tree, and ground and seed without want or needing....
Autumn is such a great time of year
But it only it is for one season
But people like it for a reason
It may be cool but the trees are colorful
And most think that that is wonderful
But those colors are only for a short time
They make the world shine bright
Oh what a pretty sight
In the leaves the children play
Throwing color every which way
What a happy feeling gay...

Blue skies produce an orange haze,
The oak tree sheds dry leaves,
The willow tree produces dead seeds,
The wind blows dust into a craze.
I reside on the lawn chair - in a daze,
The weather is cold: I almost freeze,
Leaves dance around in the autumn breeze,
Orange skies produce a darker haze....
Falling into a gentle, dusky glow
A leaf crumbled so crisply beneath her cone heel
Nothing compared to the slick sharp feel
As the air escaped like smoke with a quiet blow
Unprovoked, gusts of winds evoked a feeling that could not be shown
Thrown off course, she was forced to kneel
With a short glimpse of the sky, melted in teal
Her hair a tangle, as she fell down below
She lay there for a secon...
to be a pessimist is nothing but a thought
with feelings of hopelessness and calamity
or desperation and sanity
of fear or a mind of grief that is distraught
to a delicate mind who fought
the creation of death with bloodshot
eyes to only prove his humanity
improvising his ways of optimistic christianity
of one moment perspiring of a fatal gunshot
when one of himself is of great despair
I’ve pondered oft on the beauty of fall
The fantastic oranges, yellows and browns
Collected in mountains upon the ground
Where children leap for an autumnal ball
Though to my great discomfort I recall
The death reflected in the crunching sounds
A sign that winter is soon to come round
And devestate the trees of orchards tall
How strange, this omen of certain demise
Still thoughts of purest ser...
