A fire in my mind
A spark set alight
Arson it looks like
A boy who said he loved me
As a foolish girl I belived
A match stuck in his actions
And a kindling made of words
As usual he left my mind ablaze
Acheving his mission corruption
Always needing more he throws a nasty word
and I sit there like a log covered in gasoline
And his pyromaniac tendencies get him again...
Soon I’ll be making history
Soon I’ll be living the life I crave
Soon I’ll be entering my future
Slow time passes
Speed limits are put on my life
Sigh… why can’t time go faster
Sorrow seeps through the cracks
So much for a fun future
Sigh… I’m impatient
Signs tell me to slow down
Smell the flowers
See the sights
Save time for learning

Can this love be just for us?
Careful words of consideration
Counting down the days until I see you
Could it be that this honeymoon phase will never end?
Constellations create our happy times
Calling all angels you must be one
Created by our god up above
Constant and consistent you show me who you are
Cats purr with happiness when you are around them
Continuously I want you
Confirming my love for...
Happiness never felt forced until you held it in front of my face

Hunger didn’t become starvation until I saw the light that could’ve been more
Heaven forbid you let me see what you see in me
Hunting for my goodness, you overlooked m...
At times I know I can be careless,
At times I don’t really think,
And maybe I’m not perfect,
And maybe nobody is.
Almost everything you do,
Almost everything you say,
Amazingly, it brings a smile to my face,
And a weird joy to my day.
Actually, you aren’t perfect,
Actually, nor am I,
And can we be imperfect together?
Just you and I?
At times I feel like I hate you,
At times I feel like I love y...
Destiny has been wrapping slowly
During the full moon it began
Dastard he enters boldly
Destruction coming from this man
Did I cause this thunder as it enters here
Demons roam amongst us
Desire born of whisky internal strife and fear
Disguised as brutal lust
Danger in this room I see no exit now
Demeaning words and fists fly
Do I remember how
To escape this ugly monster I struggle now I ...
Luck never seems to come my way
Lucky for me, it did today
“Love and be humble, your dreams will come true.”
Lovely things are all I do
Lillies are pretty in the spring
Lilly thinks I’m bad at everything
“Learn to write, and learn to read”
Later I might, and this time I will succeed
Literacy is not my power
Life will go on, take it by the hour
Leaders are confident. That’s what I’m missing
