The sting is sensational. The drop of my blood created by a blade. Who would have known something that cuts you could cure you, But only for a minute the problem still hangs. The sway of each one, creates an endless void. The first initial sting creates daggering pain, But after a few measly seconds, it creates a sensation of warmth. Like a bright sunny day before the storm. My body finally thawed from the initial pain. Then it happens again, A pain so strong it crushes my lungs. I must find relief in the only thing that provides An addiction no one warns you about. The sting is sensational.

Scraping Out of Scraps of time Little eternities
Carving Out of Carver’s wood Warmth, and eyes to see

Sunnier Than God-ish light; Not gold or gaudy in the least
My lover’s soul is Sweeter Than the sweetest songful ring
And so I simply cannot help But sing.

I’m coming to get you! you can run you can try to hide but I’ll find you you hide well I seek and I’ll always find you you can’t escape me I’m unavoidable you’ll always come back to me I’ll always find you you’ll be safe in my arms don’t worry come to me you can’t escape me, anyways so give in come to me and if you don’t if you stay in your little hiding place that’s fine, too you be the hider I’ll be the seeker I’ll still find you just you wait I’ll always find you I’m coming I’m coming to get you
I have a spot Not our usual one No it’s somewhere you’d never think To look You might find the clues in my face If you pay attention For more than one wasted night If you make your tracings Reveal my footprints that drag Because I’m tired of hiding And I’d rather be found now Clinging to a branch or stuffed in a box Please figure it all out I’m getting bored and lost.
I’m infinitely curious but equally breakable Too soft to bury a truth unmistakable So I search for the truth but then swaddle a lie Why stare into hell when you could hide in the sky?
My faith is a phone I dropped down the gutter When clarity honks my exhaust pipes sputter Burrowing as deep in the sand as the buildings are tall Seeing everything demands feeling nothing at all
So I plead with the concerte at discovery’s end Spray graffiti to persuade the cement to bend But all that echos is a warning from innocence’s ghost: “Those who question the least are content with the most”
My curiosity’s quest was to uncover the light
But it’s unsafe to walk home starless at night
Turns out reality is harder to face than to find
God bless the power of a euthanized mind
