A Kind Man

Love is all fake,

That’s what you may think,

But he had his reasons

To keep on believing

In this hard-to-grasp

Lie.

He saw the good in

Everyone,

The kindness

Deep within their hearts

And he brought it out.

He put good into this

Supposedly from world,

The wolf gave good

To him.

A kind man

Receives the love he

Puts into the world,

A man like

Him.

With all the love

He received,

He had no rea...

The Cat Toy

The hearts they've broken

All those words they've spoken

They have all the power

To knock down that tower

The light that shines is no more

Laying on the floor

The boy

The heart they destroy

The kitten curls up by the boy

Carrying a cat toy

She felt as soft as a dove

That was why he still believed in love...

That Moment

His eyes were locked on hers,

and hers were locked on his.

She looked away before he did;

his gaze settled on her lips.

Once she noticed, she blushed,

it was ever so slight, he didn’t see,

but they were mutually in like,

even when neither would believe.

He stared at his ceiling every day,

rethinking about how pretty she looked,

how nice she was; how he admired her.

Once he met her, he was _hook...

In The Light Of Her Smile

In shadows, he watches, heart-a-flutter,

The way her laughter spills from her lips,

A glimpse of her smile, the sun’s gentle glow.

He watches her dream in hues of gold and purple,

Her radiating light casting away darkness,

Whispering wishes of love for all beneath the dawn’s embrace.

When he draws near, her arms open wide - her fleeting touch illuminating his skin,

The warmth of her light lik...

Aldrick’s Short Poem

One look, one touch, is all it will take.

Two hearts, four hands, no feelings faked.

That’s what makes up love, a sort of spiritual touch,

That’s what I crave, it would rule my day, if someone would just swing my way.

Aldrick sighed as he put down the quill, heart anything but tranquil.

He yearned for such a thing horribly so, it’s like he was writing a song, but was stuck on Do.

By his heart and by his soul

He’d been lied to

His own lips telling him he was done

He’d been there

When he was dying

He’d seen the light

The darkness of his eyes

He’d been changed

That moment

When it seemed over

A voice spoke out to him

A voice much louder than his

“Don’t!”

It cried

“Your worth it! Your worth everything!”

Only glancing behind them

And hasn’t written since

He’d loved his pet hamster

But it got bitten by a spider

And passed away quickly

He loved nobody,

Even himself

Then one day he came home

Bruised and tired

“Every cat old enough to catch their own prey come over here for a Clan meeting,” Icystar shouted, and all the apprentices and warriors came running over to where she was standing.

“In this meeting, we will be awarding some apprentices in making them warriors, those appren...
