Two moons Four eyes Dark skies White lies The stars revolve around the centre of the universe Which isn’t you, no matter your net worth You’re such a backstabbing bastard A narcissistic mysgonistic idiot I stand alone in a deserted home That you have bleed bone dry We are two moons revolving In a sky that shall forever be night
Sun falls as the two moons rise They go together like yin and yang Slow dancing in forever flight Floating in an infinite space
The stars in the sky light the void Over waters that make the lights dance Beams that induce a delicate trance Left me speechless where I stood
Waves crash on white fluffy sand The wind brings breezes of moisture Salty air that drys the hands This is the image of paradise for sure
Mental clarity from all troubles The waves flow out my problems Peace on warm sands of this world Far from earth, moons doubled
Lie on the beach or it by two moons was kind of weird experiencing the tight every 2 to every two hours was like lying on the beach where the water would disappear and then come back It was a very watery world lots and lots of strange sort of urchins and creatures adapting to a life on water and land with strange fins as legs walking around on oxygen tentacles that walk around Feeling headache as the gravitational pull wobbles your brain and balance The world is flat very little mountains as if the ground was being sandpapered on a regular basis world of the perpetual motion tectonic activity earthquakes frightened the blissfulness. Disturbing just lying on the beach on the bed and enjoy the sunshine. Winn feels heavy than usual adding an extra few pounds as the G Force adds massive weight to your walk people there walk on stilts or slide-with their feet to get around the beach
Once I was a coach Once I was a healer Once the moon shown brighter Once I smelled the cedar
Once he broke my heart Once he was a prince Once he hugged me even tighter
Once I was a child Once I was a bit older Once I was much bolder
Now I am deceived Now I am just eager Now I tempt fate Now I fall even deeper
Now I’m elated Now I’m floating freely Now I see your face Now I wish you closer
Now you wink and laugh Now your gazing in me Now my stomach flutters Now i hug you longer
And it will end badly And the firecracker pops And your flirt has cut me And I am left in ashes
So why do I continue So tempted yet in fear so ill come once more I surrender myself to you
Come what may And it will come quite soon The rath of infidelity hits me hard I bleed Because of you
"Come closer, my love."
she obeys.
"Do you see those two moons up there?"
"Of course I do."
"You know who they are?"
"No...who are they?"
"They're the spirits of our ancestors. Joined together to make the sparkling white moons in our sky. It's told that one day they will all come back and bless or destroy this beautiful world. We all might as well enjoy it while it lasts..."
Glancing out the window, watching the sun set and the moons rise. I watched as the glow of the two pearls in the sky bloomed. Casting a white light among our planet. The two floating around each other, I liked to think of them dancing together. The rather large one floating still as the smaller one orbited around it. Two pearls dancing in the clear midnight sky with no one to bother them apart from the stars glistening from a far.
I dangle my feet off the wall and into the water, half wanting to jump into the swell for the fun of it, half wanting to run away because of the danger, so I sit.
Of course, he is sat next to me, but I take little notice, no one else notices him, why should I?- but then he talks. ‘I’m Drew. You’re Adriana, correct?’
He’s never talked before, in all the years he’s followed me, always on my left, always silent, but always there, so it’s no wonder he picked up my real name. Actually, he’s quite dangerous… I figured only I could see him so I never bothered to shut him out of places few people are allowed, like the store room, he must know all the tricks we use to hide the real goods…
‘Yep. Adriana.’ I nod. ‘I don’t know if you know, but to-night the Katchi, it only happens once a century.’ ‘I know Silent One, that’s why I’m here.’ I used to call him that when I wrote my diary, might as well do it now too, everyone needs a nickname.
Neither of us talks again for a full two hours, we’re watching the Kalaithi, the only time the two moons and the sun cross over each other, and because of the sizes it forms a special shape, a black circle surrounded by an orange ring and then a white ring, and it’s beautiful.
The whole world is bathed in near darkness.
The birds stop singing.
The nearest moon so small a hundred km above our heads, the farthest is twice the size, and twice the distance, and the sun… No-one knows, it’s not for us to meddle with.
As it all lines up the clear sky begins to rain, and it’s perfect, light glowing droplets illuminating a scene of perfection, and I commit it to memory in order to draw it later.
Only when the mirical has ended do I look to Drew, but the Silent One is gone, and for the first time in years I am alone with the now dark and empty sky.
You know what drives me crazy?
The fact that you _You _ghosted me, And a few months later I’m playing a song With all the friends Who never left when you did. And I’m happy And grinning And feeling great.
Then I make eye contact (In the middle of the song traitor by OR mind you)
And you smile? __ _You smile. _ __ __ When I say that struck a nerve It did.
You avoided eye contact For months And talked to my friends When they were beside me Instead of me.
And you smile Like you hope that I’ll Come running back to you When you “apologize” If you ever even do. It’s as if You regretted in that moment Ghosting me.
You realize how important I am and how I love making others Happy.
I just think it’s crazy How you can just Smile As if Nothing Ever Happened.
BUT you wanna know what I did? I made eye contact with you Already smiling from singing And sang the line “You betrayed me and I know that you’ll never feel sorry for the way I hurt” And looked away.
Yeah I kinda feel bad But it’s true. And I think In that moment You knew it would take A Whole While To get back to where we used to be.
If we ever did.
So The audacity you have Is crazy Stop driving me crazy.
I dig my toes into the sand. It’s wet, and my feet begin to slowly sink, until I can’t see my ankles.
I look into the sunset, and breath the fresh air. I try to imagine what it will be like 100 years from now. Will this beach be the same? Will the air smell less fresh? I guess I’ll never know.
Humans have been trying to guess the future for as long as we can remember. This month in history, we’ve been reading previous books about the future. I remember reading The Hunger Games. It had been interesting, but I sure am glad that’s not the future that happened.
As the sun vanishes, I can see the two moons rising. It’s crazy to think that less then 100 years ago, when _The Hunger Games _was written, there was only one moon orbiting the earth.
Seventy years ago, a chunk of perfectly round rock hit the moon. Now, it orbits it. It’s funny to think that the earth orbits the sun and the moon orbits the earth and the other moon orbits the moon.
That’s a lot of orbiting.
It makes me think. 100 years ago, nobody on earth would ever dream that there would be two moons. You can know the past and live the present, but you can never know what’ll happen in the future.
I went to bed late, hoping for the night to become longer. My alarms beep with a loud noise. Still feeling sleepy, I was finding it difficult to open my eyes. I still want to be in bed with my sheet all over my body. I knew It's time I wake up. With my eyes opening groggily to see a bright light illuminating.
I cover my eyes with my hands, I get up to see I am no longer in a room but a sandy beach with two moons hanging above my head. With my heart thumping faster than before. I knew something was wrong. I close my eyes and open it again, this time I can a see a strong tide coming my way, if I don't stand up the ocean is going to take me away with it.
I ran as far my legs could carry me, breathing heavily. Why am I here? How do I go back. I stared at the moon. Since when did earth have two moons at the same time? I questioned myself. The sand felt so cold underneath my feet. Waiting for a miracle to happen, people were filling up the beach. A family of three were playing with a ball.
A couple were kissing behind me. I walked up to a man to inquire what these place was, He didn't respond, he walked pass me. It dawned on me that no one can see me.
